This is a record of BPuri's past quarter & past year results. On face value they look like BPuri had gone through a bad patch.
Now I have experienced this same scenario like I did with Pm Corp.
I know from experience so many accountants, stock analysts, stock brokers & experts disagreed with me then with Pm Corp's past results.
Pm Corp crashed from 50 cts all the way to 15 cts when I bought it. And I bought even more at 13 cts to 9 cts.
When Pm Corp was at 9 cts the results were just like this BPuri now.
I spoke to one Remisier in Iskandar about the rosy prospect of Pm Corp in year 2012. He took one look at Pm Corp's few quarterly results & immediately commented that Pm Corp was a lousy stock.
What he missed? What he did not see?
Pm Corp was asset rich. Its Net Assets Was More than its net debt. He only saw the surface. He did not make the effort to dig deeper. So he missed this Pm Corp gem at 9 cents.
Then Pm Corp disposed a factory in Singapore. Accounts showed a turn into earnings & Pm Corp declared a 3.2 cents profit. Only then Market woke up to realize that PM Corp was a gem.
Pm Corp price touched 36 cents twice.
How many missed buying Pm Corp at 9 cts for year 2012 & 2013 - 2 Whole Years Calvin told countless Johoreans to buy Pm Corp at 9 cts.
If they have bought they would have reaped 300% gain from 9 cts to 36 cts in just 1 to 2 years away.
Now I don't dispute the excellent charts brought out by Adam Khoo. You can be correct as far as the past records are concerned. That was a bad patch we have just drove past. That was a bad patch for Bpuri.
THE FUTURE IS YET AHEAD! And You missed to SEE these in BPURI
1) All the debts of BPuri are baked by Quality Assets which can be sold to settle debts
2) The payable is backed by receivables. And the receivables are from Governments & Petronas. So there is a defensive element.
3) You must realize that all other accountants & analysts lke you have also read and understood the poor results of BPuri. And thus they have sold down BPuri from Rm1.50 to 42 cts. SO ALL THE BAD NEWS ARE ALREADY PRICED INTO THE 72% DISCOUNT IN BPURI'S SHARE PRICE REFLECTED NOW AT 42 Cts (Was Rm1.50
4) You must know that just like Gadang & George Kent BPuri is also politically linked. And with election year latest by 2018 MCA backed stock like BPuri would also need money like UMNO Counter.
5) The visible Job contracts for year 2015, 2016 already reached Rm2 billions. And Management is also bullish on securing more 2017 contracts
6) Above all the actions of INSIDERS Buying 3.2 million ESOS & Interested Parties willing to buy 21 million & another 24 millions private placement shares speak louder than words. THE FACT THAT THEY ARE EVEN WILLING TO PAY A PREMIUM OF 25% TO BUY BPURI SHARES INDICATE EXTREME OPTIMISM ON THEIR PART. THEY SEE WHAT YOU ARE OTHER ACCOUNT OR ANALYST CANNOT SEE AT THE PRESENT MOMENT
7) ONLY TIME WILL TELL. WILL BPURI SHOOT PAST RM1.00
Yaa, earning will be eroded heavily by the interest from Bpuri borrowing. No need rocket science to read that. Why Calvin never reveal that ??? Spare the i3 newbies lar.
2 things will settle Bpuri debts and pare down borrowings
1. Private Placement is used to repay bank borrowings. Bpuri is getting a premium of 25% from 50 cts. There is an indirect gain just by placing out these pp shares. See Nav has gone up from 93 to 94 cts. No need to pay into for pp shares.
2. Bank borrowings could be further brought down by progressive payments from Year 2015 ongoing jobs
One more defensive reserve is this: Bpuri USJ Rm205 million shopping complex could also be sold and settle debt.
Tiu, worst practice to exercise P.P. to pare down debts. For acquisition and furthur expanding are acceptable, what chicken is that..pare down DEBT ? Are U kidding ???
There are so many other pieces of real estate . A row of shop houses in kl. Toll road concession Power assets Lots of other condos Quarry and concrete mixer batching plants
Yes, ecoworld and mahsing bandar meridin east houses selling well. I came here to check up on Bpuri's jv with Nusa Damai Prima projects.
Think Bpuri apt will sell well due to its proximity to Bandar Sri Alam. Bandar Sri Alam is known as the City of Knowledge as there are many uni and higher institution of learning here. Since apt is medium cost there will be great demand as student's hostel. And education is quite recession proof
I am here just to point out the reasons why BPURI EPS is so low.
No matter how valuable the asset the company have, how many project the company have, at the end of the day it is the Earning Per Share that determine the share price.
Just ask a question, will you invest in a company that make "0.3%" profit over the past 2 years? Even a sundry shop like 7 Eleven make much higher profit margin.
Just imagine if the cost overrun even by just only 1%, and cost overrun by up to 5% is very normal in construction industry, then BPURI will lose money, & the share price will tumble.
The risk to reward ratio for this stock just do not make sense.
Why take so much risk when you have so many much better alternative? There are so many construction company with much better potential to choose from.
Well said Adam Khoo, I bought from 60+ cents and average down to 30+ cents. Attended twice the agm at selayang, went many times to main place, still I could not be sure to cut loss or hold on for it. As I tell Calvin, welcome on board...but...to wonderland or holland ?

Thinking of Penang food? Wow! So nostalgic.
I missed the Penang Hor Fun of Rifle Range Flats, the apom near MaCalister Road. Also the Penang Chen doi in Penang Road, the Assam laksa in Ayer Itam, the fish porridge near Penang Hill where I used go for dinner. Not forgeting the very excellent Nasi Kandar in Tanjung Bungah. I also miss the nice durian from Ayer Itam Dam. And Koay teow teng found almost everywhere in Penang. Ha! I also remember the Indian Pasumbuk along Gurney Drive. Gurney Drive? I used to go fishing there as well as Batu Feringgi. SOOOO NOSTALGIC MEMORY INDEED.

JCORP BELIEVES THAT THE INTRINSIC VALUE OF KULIM IS MUCH MORE THAN THE TRADED PRICE OF RM2.50 & SO THEY TOOK IT PRIVATE AT RM4.10
Who want to takeover BPuri like Johor Corp takeover Kulim? There are many undervalued stocks with better earnings in Bursa than B Puri. Is Matthew Tee that rich like Johor Corp?
RM 205 million shopping mall. Perhaps abandoned mall like Midland One-Stop in Penang no wonder profit so low and high debt.
Icon, the what the great Calvin was trying to put forward is the fact of unknown political catalyst which could eventually push up BP like what happened to GK and GDG years ago in turning them from ashes to riches after clinching great govn contracts. Beyond this, the rest are ashes and shits...Right ??
