You have missed out Digistar, the Hidden Beneficiary of this Budget 2018.

Second: A sum of RM720 million to build 11 headquarters and six police stations as well as purchase of firearm fittings and operations vehicle. Meanwhile, an allocation of RM170 million is provided to upgrade ICT equipment, including 1PDRMnet system as well as RM100 million to upgrade communication systems;

Fourth: A sum of RM250 million is allocated to Eastern Sabah Security Command (ESSCOM) to enhance security controls at Sabah and Sarawak borders, including RM50 million for coastal surveillance radar;

223. To create safe and peaceful environment in the neighbourhood areas, the Government will continue to provide 1Malaysia People Community Grant up to RM10,000 to registered resident associations to purchase security equipment, clean and maintain neighbourhood areas with a total allocation of RM40 million.


Why Digistar:-

1) Digistar will supply ICT equipment, networking system and communication system to PDRM.

2) Digistar will assist army to setup the surveillance CCTV at ESSCOM area, and Digistar have the control room there.

3) With more & more housing area forced to establish their own Resident Association (because they want to build Gate and Guard house), so Digistar has great opportunity to approach them to use the Panther 911 system. With this RM10,000 grant, those RA will happy to use the grant to purchase Panther 911 system.

As if not enough BN Govt finally roped in GEELY to save Proton

Government To Draft Plan To Compensate PLUS For Toll Abolishment

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 30 (Bernama) -- The government will draft a plan to compensate PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) following abolishment of the Batu Tiga and Sungai Rasau toll plazas in Selangor, as announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, when tabling the Budget 2018 last Friday.

Deputy Finance Minister, Datuk Othman Aziz said the Works Ministry and Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) would draft the paper and look into any consideration, before the government agreed to pay the compensation.

"The compensation is still a subject of the existing agreement that both parties (government and PLUS) have signed.

"So, when the Prime Minister announced that the toll was being abolished, it means we have to pay compensation," he told Bernama after The Nation programme aired by Bernama News Channel (BNC) at Wisma Bernama here today.

Othman said both agencies will collaborate to work out the matter.....
