Dear qq3,
My personal opinion who will win the trade war, US Vs China if there is a trade war? Anyhow I pray common/business sense will prevail.
China had been humiliated and bullied by foreign power during the end of Qing Dynasty. Modern China had to fight the Japanese, undergone civil war, endures the breakout of Taiwan from Mainland China, civil strife and fail society under Chairman Mao rule. Luckily under Deng rule and his open policy, China had progress in leap and bound to become the second largest economy in the world. China people after undergoing years of tribulation, hardship and suffering and now enjoyed the fruit of China success had identified themselves with the state that had improved their standard of living beyond their imagination. Look at what happen to South Korea’s Lotte Department Stores in China. China people are boycotting them until many stores are bleeding money and had to close down.
If trade war escalates between China and America all the China people will boycott products make in America. America had enjoyed the labor of others to sustain their unsustainable habit of spending beyond their mean. America people are polarized by their color of skin, political polarization and a bullying no brain President. So when hardships start to creep in, who will stand unite and who will revolt?
