Aiyo...developer only think money then build....high end properties can sell for good price but they failed to realize other developer also think like that then build together to create surplus...cannot sell then seek help from government to cover their ass...affordable housing treshold increase salary no increase how to call it as affordable?

i used to buy into the story of unaffordable houses until i saw what our youngsters were spending their money on: 1st car must be a Toyota, Honda or Nissan! WTF! Can't they buy Proton or Perodua which is easily less than half the price of those Japanese cars?
so basically these youngsters are whinning away about property prices while they splurge on a Japanese car. WTF! how come they never whine how expensive Toyota, Honda, Nissan are?

@speakup It is an ignorant observation. The math reasoning never fails to prove that house price is indeed astronomical and beyond reach to 80% of the working population.

the best solution to this is to ban the increase of rent for 30 years. when the rent cant go up no 1 wants to buy properties for renting.
