1. When Germany reunited, NATO promised Warsaw Pact it won't expand eastward
2. That promise have been broke countless times
3. Warsaw Pact is no more, WHY IS NATO STILL AROUND???
4. Putin gave final warning, no more eastward expansion
5. Ukraine and the West ignored that warning - saying that is no basis for any negotiation

Now u tell me, what should Putin do? Just lay back and let NATO/West do whatever they like, in the name of "freedom"?

No way.

War is sad, but this war is unavoidable. Blood has to be shed.

I don't think Putin can accept defeat. He will win in some ways.

The war may last for a while or Putin uses more deadly weapon. With new volunteer troops from all over the world joining Ukraine, it's WWIII scale of war without the name of WWIII.

Nobody dares to mention NATO or EU to avoid WWIII. They change it to Volunteer maybe like Les Expandables.
