i like him. the city n other living spaces are clean. no more illegal jaga keretas, cities n towns no longer feel like slums (as much as possible). Was in Tapah Plus R&R stop, unbelievable how the toilets have clean smelling air with green area inside.. Boleh made possible. bravo.

As a politician, he is only giving one side of the story that he feels will give him political mileage. On the flip side, Govt has to find more money thru more and new taxes. On top of new salaries, Govt also have to pay more pensions. This may widen the budget deficit (unless it imposes more taxes and can cut down on corruption and wastages and redundancies). Lets see how it will boost the economy as some of the Govt's servants already have negative take home pays every month. If you read RCE Capital's ( which focus on lending to Govt's servants) announcement this week, it has to write off millions of receivables from its customers.

Nevertheless , however you dislike him because he is from DAP, one has to admit that he is the best Minister of Housing and Local Government that Malaysia ever had in the history so far.
