I dont think the bright ones will apply and they are probably on scholarships ( especially for them) and have jobs waiting for them at GLCs at much higher salaries. Those who apply are likely those who have graduated from perceived lower standard local universities ( like one which insists no NMs but accepts foreigners) and cannot get a job in the private sector due to stiff competition from the NMs.I have met many UiTM graduates working as waiting staff while trying to get a job related to their degrees.I applauded them for taking the initiatives to earn some money in any jobs but it will be tough getting the preferred jobs.
No result.

As if it is so easy to land with a govt job. There is only a 5% or 10% chance you can get the job, depends on which profession you are in. For Chinese, easiest is to be SRJC Primary school teachers.
