You look at the havoc at MAS.Last year, cancelled caterer without a good contingency plan in place and asked passengers to bring own food onboard.Now cancel flights without telling passengers how they choose which flight to cancel or reschedule.Just expect passengers to accept nonsense without monetary compensation for time and costs incurred (eg additional hotel stays, food etc).This is the kind of best of the worst management (mentioned by speakup) and you can find it in some many of them.My flight is cancelled and I can tell you its poor poor management , no responsibility, no sincere apologies and no monetary compensation to soothe passengers' anger etc as all MAS's coming losses borne by Khazanah, and effectively all taxpayers.The top management should be stripped of all salaries for 2024.

First thing first: Awakening, Realization & Paradigm Shift - Angel and demon are two sides of a coin
While religion as a personal value can contribute to individual and societal harmony, its use as a tool for propagation and domination would inevitably leads to division and conflict. Hence the key to maintaining harmony lies in respecting religion as a deeply personal aspect of human life, rather than a force, value or practice to be imposed on others.

Secondly, advance education sincerely:
Nothing fails school children more than an obsolete time-wasting faulty education system. The 21st century demands an education system that goes beyond traditional-knowledge-centric, rote learning and futile recitation practices. It must focus on the latest knowledge and evidence, helping learners dispel false claims and equipping them with essential living skills. By doing so, education can prepare students to thrive in a rapidly changing world and job scope, fostering critical thinking, adaptability, and a commitment to lifelong learning. This holistic approach to education not only benefits individual students but also contributes to the development of informed, responsible, and engaged global citizens.

Thirdly, focus on the right issues, for example:
For a pluralistic society, the political emphasis should shift from linguistic uniformity to linguistic inclusivity. The focus would be on ensuring that all citizens, regardless of their linguistic background, can engage in national conversations with equal clarity and recognition. By doing so, the nation would cultivate a more cohesive society, where communication bridges gaps rather than widens them, and where the richness of cultural diversity is seen as a strength rather than a challenge to national unity

Fourthly, transitioning from a consumer-driven economy to a producer-driven economy is a fundamental shift that can propel a nation toward becoming a first-world giant. This transformation requires a comprehensive strategy focusing on four key areas: education, industrialization, infrastructure, and innovation.

FIfthly, Moving On From Tradition to Tech in Shaping a Safer, Smarter Tomorrow (Parliamentarian Discussion)
With technology enabling precise, data-driven interventions, we can move beyond superficial solutions. For example, instead of dictating how women should dress for safety, technology allows for enhanced public surveillance, better law enforcement, and real-time emergency responses.
Yes, the focus should be on enhancing public surveillance, better law enforcement, and real-time emergency responses.

Sixthly, Malsia's leaders must draw valuable lessons from Lee Kuan Yew's leadership :
-focus on creating and implementing strategic long-term plans that prioritize economic growth, education, infrastructure, and technological advancement. This requires setting aside short-term political gains in favor of the country's future prosperity;
- emphasize meritocracy and good governance to build a more competent, transparent, and effective administration. This would help reduce corruption, improve public trust, and drive national development;
- Lee's approach by fostering inclusivity and unity among its diverse population. This requires implementing policies that promote social cohesion, reduce racial tensions, and ensure that all citizens feel equally valued and respected.
No result.
