By looking at the bright side, Telecommunication Services margin was improving by 5% or up from 41% as compared with 36% previously. It's still fine since the company traded at PER 15x ++ after excluding de-consolidation losses.

Now, Redtone has to wait for the new contract from the government in next few months. Once contract is awarded, it would fly whereas no contract....gg. It all depend on our risks tolerance level.

redtone will get new contract from MCMC for sure,just we dont know the size of the new contract,open tender for rural telco network contract already began two weeks ago,redtone got very good chance to win as they are particular strong in that aspect.

（吉隆坡26日彭博电）知情人士披露，丹斯里陈志远等人控制的U Mobile正策划大马首次公开售股（IPO）计划，以集资5亿美元（约21亿令吉）。

不愿具名的知情人士表示，这家电讯公司已要求银行提呈上市计划数，并打算尽快选出顾问机构，预期最快可在明年底完成上市计划。该名人士不愿具名，因为资讯尚未公开。

U Mobile是全国第四大电讯公司，如果证实推进上市计划，将加入连锁集团Mr D.I.Y.、奶茶公司Loob控股等行列，寻求明年在大马股票交易所上市。

U Mobile首席执行员黄显德在电邮中证实说：“U Mobile正在筹备IPO计划，目标是在明年上市。不过，最终日期须取决于市场情况而定。”

根据公司注册资料，新加坡淡马锡控股属下海峡电讯投资公司（Straits Mobile Investments Pte.）是U Mobile最大股东，持股达35%，陈志远和柔佛州政府分别掌握21%和11%股权。

KUALA LUMPUR: U Mobile Sdn Bhd, the country’s fourth largest mobile cellular service provider, expects to turn profitable next year after a massive spending to build up its network infrastructure in the preceding years.

“We would turn a net profit soon. I think it would be next year,” chief executive officer Wong Heang Tuck said, adding that the group expects to report a smaller loss for this year after a “big net loss” last year.

According to data from the Companies Commission of Malaysia, U Mobile’s net loss dropped 14.6% to RM414.28 million for the year ended Dec 31, 2017 (FY17), from RM485.08 million in FY16, as revenue grew by 33.7% to RM2.46 billion from RM1.84 billion.
