I was studying the trade patterns for Friday's trades. I discovered some interesting findings:
1. Vivicom Intl was once a punters' hot favourite. But it had lost favour with the punters for quite some time already when it was almost continuously pressed down by the operator until around 12 sen and punters/investors got "burnt" rather badly and most gave up hopes.
2. It has suffered a shares overhang problem with a few rounds of bonus/rights issues.
3. All of a sudden, it was pushed up last Friday and made it to the top spot in the most active counters. Forumers(investors/punters of this counter)now have started to become positive and hopeful again. Take a look at Vivocom thread and u can sense it. If this momentum can carry on into next week, will it stir interest in other speculative counters too?

Of course, all will depend on how it is played and for how long. Stock operators are very good at exploiting on our greed and fear to carry out their game plans.

If u do not subscribe for your rights, it will not affect the mother shares that u are still holding. The rights just lapse.

For the past few days, it was "false" closed at 18.5 sen. The support was set at 17.5 sen.

Mkt is generally weak. It has low speculative demand. So, it is drifting lower with mild selling. Got to see how mkt is going to absorb additional selling from some short-term subscribers on rights listing date.

The rights issue price is RM0.17' I guessed any one would want to take up the rights issue when the mother share is below RM0.17. Even though some could have subscribed for the rights issue at 0.17; they cannot sell now as the mother share is now below 0.17.

That is logical and rational thinking. But when mkt is weak, some short term subscribers may choose to cut loss if the share price is pressed down by the operator.

Let's see how things pan out....
