Company proposes private placement exercise
Early this year, Orion proposed to carry out a private placement for up to 30% of
its issued share capital, equivalent to 199m shares. The company indicated that
the private placement would be executed in stages, with the first stage
comprising a 10% private placement of issued capital, which is equivalent to
around 60m shares. The company stated that in the first stage, the funds raised
would be mainly used to finance the purchase of 10% equity in Sukaniaga for
RM10m.
