Shared Prosperity 2020 strategy. Haha, another beautiful strategy but the ultimate outcome is ... those with power and $ and corrupted will share more as they are the decision makers, either in private sector or public sector; they themselves decide their lucrative remuneration but at the same time talk about social responsibility and minimize income discrepancies; demand for productivity but they themselves don't have objective KPIs, can withdraw high remuneration if the company failed to deliver profit.....

As for banking sector poor people will continue to be squeezed as better rate normally is offered to high net worth. As for motor insurance, after detariff, all kinds of funny plan which squeeze consumers are in the market.

Who ask you to be poor?

Companies, even profit making like top glove also want more incentives.
Of course, all workers, regardless of highly paid or those being exploited. And the greedy management and bod where remuneration does not link to bottom line.
MT est, MYR to become 4.80 so that exports remain competitive in terms of pricing; cost of living continue upwards trend as imports become more costly due to weak MYR. Income discrepancies continue to widen as policy makers only formulate generic statement but blur in action plan. Even among government servants and statutory bodies staff, income discrepancies is high. Full disclosure is necessary to build in public scrutiny for a fairer system.

In short, save and invest carefully as don't expect much from anyone. Good luck.
