Starting to lose confidence with this counter and management. AGM also can fail ? This penny stock or what? Brag of big dividend, but till now still no new AGM date ,ex date or price set. Its no wonder big players dropping like hot potato. Foreign funds with start exiting in a big way if this management don't start acting professionally. Wheres the accountability ? Really bad decision buying MBB.

Hello. This is not a fake i.d. Please check my comments, already 1264. I was holding 102000 shares of Maybank and expected the price to go up towards the agm but sadly it remained at around 8.31 which is my cost after holding for about 1 month. I really can't stand the majority shareholder ASB selling everyday by the millions. Not pushing up to support the price is already Bad enough, selling heavily some more. I lost in terms of opportunity cost which I find not wise. I may come back towards the dividend ex date as from the price pattern, I don't think it can go very far

Maybank is not for you if your risk appetite is high or looking to make quick & big capital gains. This is a counter akin to a FD with high dividend yield. It is stable & “boring”. Is the type of stock you invest in and only look at it every once in awhile. You can’t monitor the price fluctuations everyday or else you’ll just end up frustrated.

Agreed Cikmuuda. I will come back whenever just before dividend is ex and run out after it goes back to original price

This is for long term hold and not for short term trading.

Dividend yield better than FD, ASM and ASB.

Very boring but safe....can sleep peacefully at night.

Don’t worry sure will have dividend. Not yet announce payment date

Posted by Tedinvestor > 2021-04-17 19:08 | Report Abuse

The biggest bank , biggest capitalisation klse stock, top blue chip counter had nothing to worry. Just hold it for long-term and you won't regret.

"The total of 40 health workers infected with Covid-19 compared to 438,000 individuals who have completed two doses of the vaccine is a very small percentage.

"This is because 99.9% of the individuals who have completed the two doses of the vaccine are not infected even though they are frontline workers who deal with Covid-19 patients on a daily basis," he said in a statement on Sunday (April 18).

Again:- What is happening? No date for new AGM, no announcement on Dividend, no info on DRP pricing, no Ex date, no payment date. Does the Board not know that markets do not like uncertainties. See what's happening to the share price!

Beijing jumps back to bullion buying, USD remains depressed…
After multiple months of sluggish buying of gold, China is back to the game and recently eased restrictions for banks importing the bullion, per Reuters. The news hints at around 150 tons of gold imports versus the recent average of 10 tons and the year 2019 buying of 75 tons per month. Also in the line were chatters of India’s record gold buying of near 160 tons in March. It’s worth mentioning that India and China are the world’s biggest gold consumers and hints of increased buying from the key customers should help the bullion that recently cheered the US dollar weakness.

Very strong support. Lucky one as it seems to be not involved in any of the on going corruption cases. Looks better than authority where ex g husband is implicated. Anyway est no issues because such a strong credibility figures?

They are trying to bring up the price to above .38 so that after DRIP cutoff price and readjustment , MBB is above 8.00 else it is a big negative mark on zam and the management

Agree with Tedinvestor.....if you think this is a good stock, buy and keep....if you think otherwise, sell and go buy other which you think is better.

Posted by Tedinvestor > 2021-04-20 12:23 | Report Abuse

If you think they are manipulating the shares than just dispose it . Move your funds to counter you feel secure

Posted by Tedinvestor > 2021-04-20 12:27 | Report Abuse

I'm holding 80,000 shares average at 8.243. Blue chip counter will up & down often. If for long-term investment there's nothing to worry.
