Hhmm... I might be wrong, the DRP actually increases the average stock price in your portfolio. The DRP shares are added into your portfolio at the opening price (/ last closing price ) of the day the shares are issued. I didnt notice this during the last DRP exercise. Anyone can confirm the average stock price will increase (assuming your portfolio share price is way lower than the market price of course).

@jeffchan1901 the DRP shares are added to your existing stock at "no cost".....so, if you subscribe full, it should bring down your average buy price by 7.5 sen.
I have already checked mine, this is my 3rd DRP.

But sometime, your trading account system might have "error" setting, I encountered this with my CIMB DRP the previous time....the average buy price became higher after DRP (the DRP price was higher than my buy price)

The MBB one is correct....it should be treated at "no cost" and bring down your average buy price.

I have received the dividend and DRP on 14th April. This one is second interim dividen. Does this consider final dividen ?
When is the next dividend date in year 2022? after august?
Suppose in year 2022 have two dividen will be receive right?

Yes. That is the final dividend for FY2021. The next dividend payout will depend on the Interim Annual Report if they meet the earnings. Nobody knows which particular date. But usually around sept Oct Nov season.

@dickson2u normally first dividend for FY is announced in September (usually first 2 weeks). only 2020 was delayed to December.
