Bought magnum at the same time,but after the income tax issue,lost money also.High of 2.70 to 1.70.Who dare to say gaming stocks are worth their money?Bank fd definately safer and less sleepless nights!!!

I guess Trust is everything.,, theses days many companies includes Berjaya had lost trust and reputation despite the Director still make can millions. ..but history told us you lost trust.., you lost everything..,see Sunreit price is higher than few years back and still paying 6% dividend.., Hope Berjaya and Tropicana mgt understand Trust is everything..,See Berjaya"s brother Tropicna NAV at 2.10 but its share price is only 0.80 ... Indicate the Value of TRUST is lacking.....see Capitaland Singapore doing well and keep growing based on foundation of honesty and Trust.., I remember while working on KL Sentral Suasana Condo., project ., Due to 1997 Asia Financial Crisis., most project delayed in completion., hence Developer need to honour LD payment to purchaser but I told Capitaland (Singapore)director how Meranti Park in Bukit Berjaya did..,pay less 6 months due to Council support letter and deduct from maintenance bill and paying voucher.. What I thought was very clever as it was saving to company but I was blasted by Capitaland director .., Capitaland director decided to ensure long term growth they must honour 100% LD and even 10% rental guarantee scheme despite only 6% achieved..,Today Capitaland KL Sentral project and the rest doing so well and Berjaya hill still struggling..., TRUST takes years to Build but days to destroy !!

I bumped into an ex-lecturer of mine. Asked whether he invests in the stock market and he responded with an appropriate comment. Never invest in a company which requires a Recurring RPT approval - which is all listed companies.

It got me thinking. Even if there's a sweet-heart deal in there which milks the plc, nobody can really spot it.

Do you think that TVT is that immoral and cheapskate to milk BToto at the expense of minority shareholders like us?

LGE is the new Finance Minister. And Ministry of Finance regulates gaming licenses. Now amendment to the outdated gaming act is possible. Also the chance to allow online betting on 4D is possible.

Their quotery profit keep dropping. This only the LGE effect after election, everyone thought LGE will do something then buy a lot. After some weeks, it will drop back to price 2.0x. I sold all mine at 2.4 yesterday already. Get profits and buy back when it drops again.

@AhKen agree. It's better invest in other company that keep growing. This BJTOTO I hold for years , keep dropping . See his chart from 5 years till now. Stock value keep depreciate. Not worth the time although dividend given. @kathejofu normally high dividend company and stock value less than RM5.00 stock value keep dropping. Check out Star. Their dividend also high but see the stock value, keep going down.

BJTOTO was last traded around RM3.30 prior to GST on 1 April 2015. With 0% GST moving forward, research houses shall soon revalue TP to reflect similar price prior to GST level.
