ECRL: Pelawaan tender kerja-kerja sivil bermula pada suku keempat 2019

KUALA LUMPUR - Pelawaan tender untuk kontraktor-kontraktor tempatan bagi pakej kerja-kerja sivil projek Laluan Rel Pantai Timur (ECRL) akan bermula pada suku keempat 2019, demikian menurut Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd (MRL).
Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif MRL, Datuk Seri Darwis Abdul Razak berkata, sebanyak 331 syarikat kontraktor Malaysia telah disenarai pendek sebagai penender berpotensi menerusi program Pra-Kelayakan (Pra-Q) baru-baru ini.
"Pakej tender untuk 40 peratus kerja-kerja sivil (tidak termasuk kerja-kerja terowong) akan melibatkan jajaran dari Dungun ke Mentakab yang merangkumi jarak sepanjang 223 kilometer yang telah dimuktamadkan," katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.
Menurut Darwis, tender-tender pada masa depan akan melibatkan jajaran dari Kota Bharu ke Dungun serta jajaran Selatan baharu antara Mentakab dan Port Klang apabila dimuktamadkan kelak.
"Projek yang dijangka siap pada 2026 ini juga berkait rapat kepada penglibatan efektif oleh kontraktor-kontraktor tempatan dalam kerja-kerja sivil ECRL termasuk kerja-kerja tanah, asas, struktur, penambahbaikan tanah dan jalan," katanya.
Beliau berkata, Jawatankuasa Penilaian Pra-Q yang diwakili oleh MRL dan China Communications Construction Company Ltd (CCCC), telah menyenarai pendek sebanyak 331 atau 25.1 peratus daripada 1,321 syarikat kontraktor Malaysia yang berpotensi menjadi penender ECRL selepas menilai latar belakang, pengurusan kewangan, kakitangan teknikal serta loji dan peralatan syarikat tersebut.
Menurutnya, daripada 331 syarikat pembinaan yang lulus saringan dan tersenarai sebagai penender berpotensi, syarikat yang berkategori CIDB G7 mewakili jumlah terbesar iaitu 164 buah syarikat disusuli dengan gred CIDB G4 iaitu 69 entiti.
Baki syarikat lain adalah Gred CIDB G3 iaitu 45 syarikat manakala G5 dan G6 masing-masing sebanyak 33 dan 20 buah syarikat.
"Jawatankuasa Penilaian Pra-Q turut mengenalpasti sebanyak 234 atau 70.7 peratus daripada 331 syarikat pembinaan yang dipilih merupakan syarikat milik Bumiputera," katanya.
Beliau berkata kesemua syarikat yang telah berjaya disenarai pendek akan menerima makluman secara bertulis sebelum akhir Ogos 2019 daripada CCCC yang merupakan kontraktror kejuruteraan, perolehan, pembinaan dan pentauliahan (EPCC) bagi projek ECRL sepanjang 640 kilometer.
Sebelum penggantungan projek ECRL, pihak CCCC telah melantik syarikat tempatan merangkumi pembekal, kontraktor dan perunding bagi kerja-kerja awalan ECRL.
"Oleh itu, dengan penyambungan semula projek ECRL, pihak CCCC akan menghormati semua kontrak terbabit dan membolehkan syarikat tempatan berkaitan menyambung kembali tugas masing-masing," katanya.
Projek ECRL membabitkan rangkaian rel sejauh 640 kilometer itu dijadual siap menjelang Disember 2026 dan menghubungkan Kota Bharu ke Putrajaya dalam masa 4 jam dengan kos lebih rendah sebanyak RM44 bilion. - Bernama

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 21): Shares of Iskandar Waterfront City Bhd (IWCity) jumped as much as 13 sen or 26.8% today, as the possible revival of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) improved sentiment on Malaysia's mega projects currently under scrutiny.

At 4.42pm, IWCity was trading at 58.5 sen, up 10 sen or 20.62% for a market capitalisation of RM494.06 million. It was the third most-actively traded counter on Bursa Malaysia with 81.26 million shares transacted.

My advice is to hold and wait for few months. BM is awared to iwh. Iwh is one of major sh of iwc. Iwc sure ada connection. So hold

Ekovest has interesting rumors n epf going in. I think u should hold ekovest as well. Ekovest could be appointed as major contractor of BM. But master developer of BM is iwh

Hence u guys should hold ekovest n iwc for long term. Even after awarded BM has long way to go. Its worth 140bil n more.

I believe ekovest n iwc has a very long upside in the future. This is your one time to get rich time. Hold on to them. Dun regret n dun trade short term. Just buy now n hold for at least maybe a year. This is my advice. I already got lots of iwc.

Remember there is NO fucking project in msia worth 140bil before. This is enuf to just keep holding on to these 2 shares.

All the best ppl. And just fuck the naysayers n nonsense ppl. Dun listen to them. Think only logic.
