The company has appointed one of the banks to reduce the ex. price of its warant. So those with cash should start to collect the warant but to play contra is very risky bcause over a few times even the mother share up 10 cent but the warant may drop few cents.

The completion date of disposal of KFC is by latest 6 months from agreement date. it seems still early from the special dividend date. why increase so much today?

This counter has been negleted for a long time and the fundemental is also strong. With or without the dividen, the price should be more than 5.00.

Since the mother share has shot up to RM5.03 and ex price is RM 3.85 and the warant is RM1.15, so the warant is considered value buy now.

this will depend how long u plan to hold. There will be some rerating after the disposal of KFC. The current P/E is about 11+. After disposal, it main activities will be on plantation.Other plantation counters are trading at higher p/e currently

maturity date for KulimWC is 27/2/2016 and the ex-price RM3.85. Buy the mothershare, not the warrant boy.

alex..take the current mother share price minus WC ex-price. 5.27-3.85=1.42. that's the price of WC should be now.but when look at the WC's chart, i can see that it's still moving downward, just below the downtrend resistance line

My guess is wc is not at a premium.......
once the deal to sell kfc etc concluded (soon) there are no more premium ....... indeed .......... could even be out of money ....
Perhaps market (or the big boys) already factor these in..... better to just watch the show......

Mr edlim, if you check the anoncement by Kulim last month, it has insructed a bank to adjust the exercise price after the special dividen is paid. Meaning that the excercise price will be less than RM3.85. I hav the idea/feeling that the big boys or the sharks are accumulating the warant-C and pressing down the price!
