Last year result out on 22nd Feb. Normally they do not announce Q4 result. They just announce the full year result including Annual report.
Are you sure this year will be different?

UP will have explosive earning in 2022 !! Here is why :
As reported by management, the company sell forward significant volume for crop produced in 2021.

Actual CPO price realised in 2021 (per QRs) :
Jan-Mar 21 $2,892
Apr-Jun 21 $2,967
Jul -Sep 21 $3,053
Simple av Jan-Sep 21 $2,971 only as opposed to spot mkt price averaging $4,172 which is the result of premature forward sales (and wrong judgement by management !!!)

FCPO average from Feb to Dec 2022 as at 7/2/2022 is $5,189 !!

If the company continues to adopt forward sales policy, the realized selling price for 2022 will be significantly higher than last year ,and hence earnings !

I think EPF selling is expected to stop or at minimum as they no longer need to raise $101 bil to meet the Covid special withdrawals by the members.

Hi Sardin, you can go to Bursa website under derivatives section to view the daily prices for each of the future months . The prices change as frequent as the trade done. I summed up the settlement prices for Feb to Dec 2022 and average it out .

people don't understand this is not a hype stock. most holders and older people who hold big amounts and don't do short term plays. most holders here have a cost basis of below 10 and below and just reaping dividends every year

Labour problem has Limited financial impact . On the whole country basis, production in 2021 drop by about 5% only (19.2 mil Mt vs 18.2 mil mt), but CPO price gone up 60% (av $4417 vs $2765). All plantation should rightly make a lot more profit in 2021.

I think the biggest issue for Utd plant in 2021 is too much forward CPO sales at very low price . The average realized selling price for the Jan- Sept 2021 qtrs was only $2,971! Even Simeplant which has substantially more production in Indonesia achieved higher realized price of $3,545 for same period.

Just because this stock is not going up compared to other plantation stocks, people are condemning it.. this company has excellent mgmt.. we criticize their forward sales strategy but this strategy provides stability in earnings.. earnings do not fluctuate like a yo-yo depending on CPO price.. that’s how they can give u consistent dividend.
