yeah,if u look at the price movement it is damn boring.Heck, buy this for the fat divvy,if u want excitement go buy Sersol,Sumatec and other goreng counters.
let the son expire in May 14 before the mother start to appreciate so that 'they' don't have opportunity to goreng the son (which is offered free, i think)
"Pain in the ***" "A thorn among roses" "Hate to love, love to hate"
These idioms are perfect description for Marco. 0% capital gain but attractive dividend yield.
Too many competition, yet, found its niche in entry level segment where its priced between RM200 to RM500. This is Casio unique selling point alongside with its established G-Shock range.
I don't expect Marco can penetrate fashion & premium watches market. It's dominated by Fossil, Seiko, Swatch & etc. In fact, solidify its current position is the best strategy.
Will it fly after May 14? I would be more happy if dividend yield is 20% next year. Thank you, Tan Sri. I am your crony.
Faberlicious, I doubt it will fly too. My dividend yield is 14% this year. Hard to predict Tan Sri next move.Tan Sri declared 15% dividend 2 years back. He may shiok sendiri again next year.
Sephiroth, this is how I determine a quality eps.
If eps decrease due to increase in outstanding shares, it's normal.
If eps decrease due to reduction in net income, it's bad.
a look at their latest cashflow statement shows that their CFFO is not able to sustain such a high dividend payout, but looks like they are doing well in their investing, they make substantial profit from the gain of the warrants conversion/sale (goreng ??) and this was able to cover the dividend... but warrants expiring soon.. not sure how after that....
With cut in subsidies, consumer spending sentiment is likely to be affected. This may cause consumers to defer/avoid spending on CASIO watches, etc.... Then Marco's sales will be hit, is it?
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....

That's Marco outstanding personality. 0% capital gain, just like a thorn. Haha.
