Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott today said there will be no taxpayer handouts for struggling national carrier Qantas, but flagged support for lifting foreign ownership restrictions on the airline.
Folks, why hang on to MAS? Hoping the shares would pick up again? But this is a very practical way to see your money melt down like a burning candle. Careful now folks!! Heheheheheheh!!
AyamTua can FLY but not MAS .. not YET 2015-2016 maybe .. while waiting punt or invest in other worthwhile stocks ....... to those trapped ... dont worry, if u can do something or can find other stock to win... then use that plus minus here and there etc etc .. until your other stocks can cover your MAS counter loss...
Buy Sumatec ... I have sold all my MAS yesterday and went into Sumatec-WB ... Better return even today. No regret and lucky to have taken such drastic measure. No point holding on. We can revisit MAS after profiting from Sumatec .... He he
Malaysia Airlines does not seem to be any closer to profitability having posted a net loss of RM1.2 billion for the 2013 financial year and a deepening quarterly net loss of RM342 million for the fourth-quarter last year.
Despite a 27% improvement in passenger traffic in 2013, the national carrier not only failed to turn a profit but more than doubled losses from the previous year’s results.
not buying sumatec but.. SUMATEC better performance than MAS .. while waiting go find some other toys to play first .... :D
example only take this, "bad boys fast and furious counters not for faint hearted" ... sumatec - director disposes still can up .... instacom - director disposes still can up ... PDZ, SCOMI etc etc etc
MAS?????? - rugi .... susah want to up .....
but there's clear distinction between dispose (rugi, maybe they need the money?) and rugi (rugi) ... dont put into this first unless prepare to be long term .... MAS good name and cheap but... sayang counter performance not so promising.... rugi few hundreds million ok... this one billions ......... go play other toys first ............ kikikiki
Jauhari, now more than two years into his ambitious turnaround plan for the airline said he would continue to rely on cost-cutting to steer the airline back to profitability, not seen for five years.
“With intensifying competition, we expect the pressure on yield to continue. We will intensify efforts to reduce our costs, focusing on inherent legacy costs, while increasing utilization to drive traffic and revenue,” he explained.
Jauhari, I think your Hari to make money still Jauh lagi
MAS good name, ridden by bad debts .. only if it were taken care properly last time when there's no competitors like AIRASIA, FIREFLY or MALINDO.. this is the superstar ........... kasihan... hmm.. tido saja lah .... kikikiki 2 sen thoughts.. jangan marah
Surprised how a near monopoly GLC can made over RM1 bil losses? How to recover these losses as well as those accumulated ones.....the retained loss will be so high it will take another few years to recoup.
end of the year MAS is 0.2. If want to buy buy end of the year. year 2015 will be 0.1. Better Price to buy. Malaysia Boleh Land. They actually is encourage oversea buyer to buy up whole MAS with cheaper price. or Purposely make it cheap so some crony friend can buy cheap that privatize it.
Folks, should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks!
Another possibility is that they have sold at 0.31 to 0.315 last couple of weeks and now is time to buy back. Conclusion : GLF is good in shares trading but not running business like MAS.
MAS, wat a Fckg disgrace to 1M boleh..our tax money n EPF savings will be screwed agn..better sell to Tony for RM3.00..sack the whole mgtm team..just compare to other asian airlines..niamah..
Malaysia Airlines full-year performance of making a bigger loss in 2013 compared to 2012 demonstrates the challenges brought on by intensifying competition leading to lower yields.
So the big question: Will the year low at 0.29 hold?
Going into 2014, Malaysia Airlines expects the business environment to remain challenging with high fuel prices, volatile foreign exchange and intense competition impacting yield from both existing as well as new entrants into the market.
Investors become emotionally attached to a stock and overlook the company's shortcomings. Whatever the reason loving a stock, separate your emotions from the hard reality that it may be time to sell.
their KPI is how much they can loss. so all the management staff find all the way to make it loss so that they can get the bonus. Just think, the nasi lemak they sell can earn 200% profit. how can loss money. so the only way to loss money is provide free trip to high rank goverment staff travelling around or use for election as donation.
