Thats why a lot of minority share holders not agree for it to be privatize because they know the price will be only around 0.20 - 0.40. Because they will lost a lot. In order to privatize MAS, i think the major shareholders which is khazanah need a certain percentage of agreement between them and minority shareholders before they set up a price to privatize MAS.
Does Khazanah need to own all remaining shares that they don't already hold for MAS to be privatized? If not, what is the threshold percentage that they have to own in order to privatize it?
Najib and nafizuddin are related to JETLINE INTERNATIONAL (M) SDN BHD.... while nazri the ceo of cimb, najib's younger brother and nafizzudin's uncle... while JETLINE is related to MQTECH.... and MEGAT D SHAHRIMAN one of the substantial is and old and still friend of najib and nafizuddin both... is the proxy for both... while the number one and number two majority shareholder of JETLINE..a businessman and his daughter (just around 30's years old, the majority shaholder number 1) are both proxy of najib .... man... im goin to be rich...this nazri will become boss of khazanah... MAS will be privatized ... the buyer is NAJIB and family .... hehe ... jangan lupa rosmah
And big move by drb hicom recently ... selling shares of one of their subs company.. sy mokhtar must be accumulating millions to partner najib's family ... seeking to own MAS
Najib cakap: JANGAN TAKUT ... JANGAN TAKUT ... MAS NI TERUK... AKU DAN FAMILI AKU... SAMA SY MOKHTAR AKAN BELI ... NI JASA AKU PALING BESAR UTK NEGARA TERCINTA NI .... SAMBUNG NAJIB: nafiz! .. nazri ! EXECUTE THE PLAN ! ... Rosmah pula senyum sambil mengangguk malu2 kucing
Nazri cimb membalas.... duit kita memang terlebih cukup utk privatize MAS ni bang najib.. tapi sy mokhtar cuma perlu utk share the risks with us... yet we need different ... international white knight... saye fikir begitu bang najib oi
nafiz memberi pendapat: daddy etihad tak jadi... emirates kan ada!
rosmah menyampuk : JANGAN LUPA SIA
najib ketawa dan berkata : HAHA HEHE KIKI ...SEMUA MEMBER FAMILI AKU BIJAK2 BELAKA ...TERUTAMA ISTERI KESAYANGAN KU... OH ROSMAH ... INI MALAM FREE TAK.?!
Skali lagi rosmah tersipu2 sambil malu2 macam tak mahu ... lepas terawih I free
SIA is better than any arabs on earth... in terms of management... the arabs just have money and ambitions except ISIS.... I mean IS...... SIA knows malaysia well... national issue? Tarak susah... kasi masuk dan implemen balik ISA ....... ISIS? IS? SIA? ISA? Penin penin
if insider knows that khazanah is taking over..and the insider means someone knowing about the deal..then the insider will also purchase the shares cheap..push up the price, have khazanah privatised at higher price + premium(since khazanah is agong's $$$,who cares), then the insider as someone who can control khazanah...will do damage control by pushing mas after privatisation. here..u gain money and fame!
yeah got info that all the minority shareholder did not agree for it to be privatize. So how khazanah would go with this. If let say minority shareholder did not agree then can or not board agree on the privatisation of MAS ? really dont know about this .
That's what I asked earlier also. Does any of you have any idea how many shares does Khazanah need to acquire to privatize MAS? We know currently they are holding around 70% of the shares already. Do they need to acquire all of the remaining shares in order to allow privatization?
First got info from insider and its also appear in Focus Malaysia this week edision which make the info more convincing and strong.I think that is also one of the reason Nazir Razak coming to the board of Khazanah in SEPT 14 which could also become one of the strategy to cool down the share holder by his new plan or direction for MAS.
If I am not mistaken, the acquirer (in this case can be Khazanah) can offer a takeover exercise and by the time the deadline is achieved, should the acquirer gained more than 90% of the shares, it is bound to offer a mandatory takeover. By that time, minority can't say no to it although minority shareholders can make a big fuss and initiate a court case against the takeover. This usually only delay the takeover or prompt the acquirer to offer a higher price. But being minority shareholders, usually would be squeezed and you don't have the firepower and resources to fight such a long and tedious court case.
Its going to be a very big decision that khazanah & Govt have to make in order to safe MAS. Since Union also did not agree to privatize MAS. And now Minority shareholders also not agree to the plan. This is a huge task for Khazanah & MAS. One of the way is to downsizing staff/asset , forge alliances with other airline or selling a stake in MAS to other airline.
The headlines that is going around now is about the MAS unions. They are tackling the union asking them to be soft and they are gauging their response. So far the union yet to reply anything but as we all know the Union is mostly of UMNO/BN people and it can be easily done now that government (read : Nazir) is all out to curb their influence. Once MAS union issue a positive response of willing to take a step back, this will akin to positive development and the price will rise. Reason: 1 step closer to privatisation etc. There are alot of hurdles..which equals to rally. But the hurdles are all within the control of the govt. And with the support hover ard .21...a big gun is supporting the fundamental. Or else, a company losing RM5 million daily...not a chance to have any such rally.
awang87 Union OK for MAS to be privatize but not at current price. Because they will lost a lot of money especially what they invested in 2013 around 3 billion.
Hi Normi, better don't invest here, high rish. I had stock here, only make me heart attack. I advise you to buy MMSV, this stock is slowly up. Invest in your own risk ya, this just my 2cent advise... See my name you know loh...
follow Spore transport lah, turn MAS into management company, and assets & fleet held by khazanah like that sure profitable for MAS shareholders and bring about national integration and encourage domestic eco tourism
Huraiiiiiii MCA president or New Transport Minister Instruct MAS to present their New Recovery Plan by this week.Huraiiiiii no wonder a lot of people interest buying this counter and the support level are very strong. This week potential this counter to shoot or explode. Huraiiiiiiii. Now i start to like this new MCA guy.
