In this environment of low interest rates (getting lower soon), I have doubled up on my total investment in BAT for double digit dividend yield in view of the knee jerk reaction on MSCI exclusion today. All these negative noises are good for lower average price accumulation & hopefully if it trend lower, I can tripled up on the total investment since there are limited stocks to invest in due to Covid-19.
According to Bloomberg data, of the 17 analysts covering BAT, eight have assigned a "Buy" call and the remaining nine are "Hold" and "Sell" calls. The consensus target price is RM16.84.
Sumatecrm1.....will become RM 0.10.....lai lai lai

Glad that this thread got few experienced retail investors who can give above average advice to other retail investors... BAT is undervalued as long as below RM12 n next quarter result of PBT of 80-90 million should be rational for share price of RM11.50-12.00, no need to feel panic for remove from MSGI which is mainly an index for global fund managers to refer n believe local big cap to medium cap counters rely much more on local funds n retail investors.... Carlsberg already overvalued after RM26-28, bunch of investors n some funds still chasing the counter ... So far, I think the advice from Panorama, Najib ,eddy888 is sincere n not bad ... n William ...
Many investors lost money because they follow the trend too closely. When the trend went down, they sold. When the trend down even more to almost bottom, they sold all. In fact this is the good time to accumulate for some business minded investors. Happy valentines day & investing :)
I posted this at TDM forum before, I collected TDM @RM0.18 when everyone look down on TDM. Jan 2020, I sold all my TDM @RM0.40 and shifted partial of my fund to buy BAT.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
