Many people have attack me for their dumb decision not to buy TM at RM3. For your info, I have sialang TM at RM3 to RM3.1 last week. I have bought so uch that I own so much of TM.

I will continue to sialang until I have 5% of TM. If you are a clever investor, you will know that TM is the rock pillar of internet and telecommunications in Malaysia. If TM stock price drop significantly, imagine our internet and telco being taken over by foreigner. I believe the government will not let this happen.

My suggestion to the government, allow TM to charge Maxis, Axiata, Digi and Time double the current rate to make them competitive. This way, TM revenue will be offset by 25% broadband price cut. Including increase subscriber base, TM share price should be above RM7.

The problem is not TM's business, is the political appointees of past administration. By cutting their salary, TM could potentially save RM100mil per year for distribution as dividend.

So do local/foreign BANKS, FINANCIAL ESTABLISHMENTS, CORPORATIONS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, UNIVERSITIES and other large entities use mobile MOBILE internet or CABLED internet for their offices and business premises? Those are the entities having hundreds or even thousands of employees/users, right?

Stockbrokers and Banks use MOBILE or CABLED internet in running their trading activities? Which one more stable? That is why TM still have incomes regardless of what the other telco doing. Which company owns the UNDERSEA INTERNET CABLES connecting east and west Malaysia and more importantly CROSS BORDER internet connection. If u say TM is going down means u think the entire country will go down because those vital cables are at national security risks kikiki

Midas57, how do u do valuations? Just look at solid PBV alone, TM is easily the cheapest.

Digi: 4.20 against NTA 0.08 so PBV 52.5
Maxis: 5.46 against NTA 0.60 so PBV is 9.1
Timecom: 7.65 against NTA 3.92 so PBV is 1.95
Axiata: 4.05 against NTA 2.38 so PBV is 1.7
TM: 3.10 against NTA 2.012 so PBV is 1.54

In my opinion, TM hasn't harness its own assets to at optimum level. I'm sure there are vast potentials that it can squeeze out more earnings out of its assets. Have u do a roundup comparison of capex by these companies? U can know which one is more likely going to boost future earnings through capex and stated company directions.

Again I agree TM have bright future after forced to revamp and improve after years of protection, I’m say in the short term price havent bottom out... maintain tp 2.50, long term I agree we both will profit ! ! !
