when u start offering cheaper alternatives, definitely that package/plan will compete with the higher plans, so this is when ppl choose whether to stay with the plan(upgraded) or go for a lower price plan/package.

tm strategy is to try to mesmerized their customer with the high speed so that they won't jump to the lower plan/pakcage when it is introduced. BUT lots of ppl definitely will look at the price and acceptable speed

Nowadays TM business is very much reliance on UNIFI only. Further, UNIFI service is not so good. From the recent report found Malaysia internet speed is among the slowest in other countries and expensive one
