Lulilan 1 dated 7-7-14. TQ for your motivation and positive implied, my target price by end of 2014 is RM1.95, RM2.15, RM2.35 which is higher then 12% proposal profit around RM1.75 (maybe happen within 2 weeks). I appreciate your info about 2000 Tech Bull run, it was unforgettable. I like Tech stock, it has a trend cycle, once you understand it (from 20 years ago until now), you make handsome money. Remember Unisem up from RM5++ to RM20++ long long time ago? Honestly, Tech stock return is not so good compare to 20 years ago. Unisem business is sustainable for another 10 to 30 years, but margin will affected due to strong competition especially from China. Don't expected Unisem would fly up to RM5 within 2 years, unless, revolutionalise comes up with NEW technology. Unisem and MPI are not comparable, there are different business. Good luck.

he still work as an accountant while i am still jobless.

i have 2 ways of playing stocks.the first wife and 2nd wife theory/
first wife buy and keep and sell at the right time/2nd wife poor fellow so need to make fast buck.on 7/7 my 2nd wife jump in at 160 using margin of first wife
now she locked in to come out at 180
make your rm 1 worked like rm3 for those who are lazy to work

based on available figures current pe of inari about 17 and mpi over 20.price to book for mpi is about 1.5.this horse unisem is way behind but if you input qtr 2 3 and 4 future earnings the stock still has alot to make up..so johnny has SCROTAL gumption to hold on..this ride wont be like an air turbulence but sweet climbing up only.

johny if you got 15 million profit for 9 months..you can report 5million for each month.,or 2,3 and 10..or 3 ,6 abd 9 million..if you are the owner of a company and you want to goreng your share..what type of creative accounting would you tell your accountant to do.so why you sell so early..think about it

Still not enough money to use sell away L&G, MAA and Genting-WA for 3 month first, this Unisem is vary attractive. asset is RM1.40, every year if profit RM0.20, this share easily reach RM2/= for PE=10.

you mean utilization rate at 100 per cent..not yet lah..last time during first qtr reported at 65 per cent..now should be about 80 per cent..if 2 or 3 qtrs 100 per cent..then the EBITA will should up like a rocket..anyway based on historical release of 2nd qtr reports should be end of July 2014 or 1st week Aug.I am only interested in the following figures of the company. revenue,ebita,cost of sales and other costs and profit.
the HEALTH of any company depends on this figures and any other information can only help to justify.so if you have any access to such figures dont trumpet it as you might KILL your own golden goose.
the director of kim hin sold his shares before his bad results came out years ago.what ever it is having prior info is insider trading and in malaysia bolih land if you are unlucky to be caught then only a crime..other wise carry on

Every time I go Ipoh, I will exist Simpang Pulai toll, and go to Unisem factory, park the car outside and observe the environment, try to heard the production noise (unfortunately, electronic process would not make rock music), this can justify the business situation. All I can see many cars and bikes park there, seldom see container in and out, hardly to see staff walk outside the factory. The latest I went there was in April. I wonder is this Unisem main factory??

KKl, thanks for the advise,you might hear some machine sound if you go to right hand side of factory, all chillier are there.
container will no in/out at normal working hours.
Please go weekend if you wan to see the container in/out.

Compare to MPI factory (Carsem), near North Ipoh exist toll, there are very busy, you can see people, staff, cars and containers move in and out. No doubt, MPI production output/capacity is bigger then Unisem. My understanding is, both companies produce difference finish products.

For my opinion, mainly on every quarter announcement, that mean Feb,May,Aug,Nov. but most of the electronic employee is rich man, when their company doing good, they will buy the share in advance, specially the finance people, so Jan,Apr,Jul,Oct. but some of them don't know dispose of Asset, the process may be getting loss or profit.

Radioshack US Electronics stores are in the brink of filling for bankruptcy. Prices plunge to penny stock levels.

RadioShack to Shut 1,100 Stores as 4Q Sales Plunge

RadioShack (RSH) revealed another quarter of red ink and a 19% tumble in same-store sales on Tuesday, prompting the embattled electronics retailer to shutter up to 1,100 stores.

Wall Street slammed RadioShack’s beaten-down share price in the wake of the big earnings miss, driving it as much as 19% in the red.

The electronics company logged a net loss of $191.4 million, or $1.90 a share, last quarter, compared with a loss of $63.3 million, or 63 cents a share, a year earlier.

Excluding one-time items, RadioShack lost $1.29 a share, widely missing projections from analysts for a loss of 14 cents.

Revenue dropped 20% to $935.4 billion, trailing the Street’s view of $1.12 billion. Same-store sales slumped 19% and gross margins slid to 29.8% from 35.8%.

“Our fourth-quarter financial results were driven by a holiday season characterized by lower store traffic, intense promotional activity particularly in consumer electronics, a very soft mobility marketplace and a few operational issues,” RadioShack CEO Joseph Magnacca said in a statement.
