More company background info as promised.

John as a lawyer didn't had the ability to start the semicon industry earlier. Using his new found money that he gained through his plantation business he fished 2 prominent people from a competitor (Carsem) last time to build this semicon company.

The 2 real active founders of Unisem being is no longer with the company anymore today.

They are:
1)Colin Garfield MacDonald (died of organ failure with suspicions of alcoholic poisoning)

2)Ku Hong (retired in 2000 and relinquish all his directorship rights)

Today most of the company shares is held by John's own family members through proxy private companies. His wife and himself are the largest shareholder in a company called Jayvest Holdings which directly controls a company called Bandar Rasah Sdn. Bhd.

Bandar Rasah is a place located in Negeri Sembilan. Coincidentally, NS is also the hometown of Birkin Mama Ros.You can find it all in her Wiki page.

You can also find out that John's previous directorship in the plantation business such as Gadek and Pan Global are all based in Pahang. That's Jib Jib fan place.

Wow this company really have really foul mouth directors who desperately wants people to get trapped by their words. They keep telling you that firing staffs is fine as long as they can keep goreng the counter as long as they want to cheat the public of their investments.

Your foul mouth and duplicity of your character with multiple dupes is enough to warrant that your shares are next to useless.Go goreng your own counter to all you want..

Keep it for like 1 year and wait for John to goreng it up pass RM1.50.

He and his execs will eventually have to do it when they need more donations from public to shower themselves. Last few years back they always do this dirty trick approaching CNY or Raya but later when public found out the pattern they changed it slightly to avoid detection and prevent public to take profit first b4 themselves.

Once drop below RM1.00 just buy if you have extra money and keep it for medium to long term(1 year) wif loss stop order at 80cents.

Already figured it out. That old samseng geezer John will not do charity for the people. He's pumping his own savings in to stop people from buying cheap and gain from his donations.

jolie2, you're right sell while you still can. See how long he can keep up with taking out his own money to sustain the pricing.

Towards end of the year, orders have already slowed down and met by this time because the consumer end products already starting to get shipped by now.

Earlier this year during 1Q and 2Q, production resources was maxed out due to workforce downsizing and closure of floorspace as cost savings.

Now that the orders have been met, things will slow down.Don't forget consumer demand has been also declining with recent Apple's new line of products which was boring.

Smartphone adoption is also losing appeal because of expensive internet charges in Malaysia being among the most expensive and slow in the world.

Just play the wait n see game with this counter.

Once it drops below or very close to SATU ringgit, go straight in and buy to keep it for around a period of 1 year.

At some point(within 12 mths), he'll goreng it to dig money out of the public. That is the time you take profit from it.

Last time it was much predictable, always nearing CNY or Raya. Now, not happening anymore but you'll know the itch will get him to do it within 12 months period because he also need to cari makan.

a post-plunge rally on friday may be followed by a fresh sell-off on monday. If dip buyers get repeatedly get burned, they will stop doing so. And that;s when the market pullback could build steam Then we may see a 20% or more pull back. The bear market will start then and the price getting lower and lower . Unisem will become penny stock again.

as long as the oil price war does not end, the market will still in correction mode and turn in bear mode. Oil price will continue drop to USD 70 per barrel soon. Therefore the correction is not over yet. It just a "dead cat bounce"

Today closing is great! finally my portfolio is almost close to positive based on Unisem performance but unfortunately Alam is still weak. Anyway, much to learn from recent market down although it is not ending yet.
