Good News this morning. Here are the key points:

Fed Cuts Rates: The Federal Reserve cut interest rates by half a percentage point, citing increased confidence in inflation moving towards 2%.

Economic Projections: Policymakers expect further rate cuts, with the benchmark rate falling to 2.75%-3% by 2026.

Market Reactions: US stocks gained, the US dollar fell, and Treasury yields dropped following the announcement.

Labour Market Concerns: The Fed’s decision reflects concerns about a potential slowdown in the job market, despite progress on inflation.

Capital A ecosystem is sound. Lower USD, oil price are icing on the cake.
The proposal is progressing according to what mentions during AGM, let observe how values are unlock on corporate leader hands.
Those naysayers are barking on a single tree missing the forest, keep hopping on text taken out of contexts auditor statement.

This morning Mabel add more Capital A at 78.5 sen when some nice Uncles and Aunties matched Mabel's queue. Thank you so much...

As the proverbial tailwinds behind the aviation sector have turned positive. The USD and fuel prices have eased markedly, lowering expenses in the process. We also gather that fares will rise following MAS’ decision to temporarily cut capacity.

Maybank maintain CAPITALA and AAX BUY calls, earnings estimates and TPs for now but under a ‘blue sky’ scenario, we estimate that our CAPITALA and AAX FY25 earnings estimates could double if the status quo of relatively stronger MYR and lower jet fuel prices hold.

In fact, 2015 and 2016 were so profitable that CAPITALA generated a huge 2016 core net profit of MYR1.64b and AAX generated a maiden 2016 core net profit of MYR102.7m. Although the current total fleet count of Malaysian airlines of 262 is only 4% below the 2019 figure of 274, the demand-supply situation is a lot tighter on the ground. Of MAA’s 102 aircraft, only 84 are active while the rest are under/ awaiting MRO. Of MAS’ 77 aircraft, only 67 are active while the rest are under/ awaiting MRO. Ostensibly, 10 of MAS’ aircraft were recently parked due to the aforesaid operational difficulties. Adding the active aircraft of AAX, Firefly, MASWings and Batik Air Malaysia, there are only 223 active aircraft currently or 15% below the 2019 figure. This is why we believe that fares will likely trend higher.

To Our Success !

Since CapA IR did not replied my AGM follow up/clarification questions, I will send the same questions as EGM questions.

Dear IR,
Just a gentle reminder:

Another month had passed since my previous email dated 2nd August on my follow up seeking clarification from External Auditor and BOD regarding their answers given to my submitted AGM questions.

May I know will I be reasonably expecting clarification answers from the External Auditor and BOD?

Or do I need to wait until the next EGM and AGM to post the clarification questions to the External Auditor and BOD?

Dear Bursa SC,
Is it within shareholder rights to seek clarification on answers given by the External Auditor and BOD during AGM Q&A, if the answers given were not very clear to the person posting the questions?

Is a listed company obliged to give answers to follow up clarification on answers given to AGM Q&A?

Thank you

Have a good day

Best Regards

By the way I make myself an AAX shareholder and this time round I will ask the difficult questions on AAX aquisition of AAAGL and AAB.

And will AAX fall into PN17 after taking over the assets and liabilities of AAAGL and AAB?

Posted by TradingFUN > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

@SSLee has you ever think about why the management never answer your questions ?

Posted by TradingFUN > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

Because is a waste of time to answer your questions.

You need to find out yourselves from the information provided and decide on your own either to invest or not in AAX or CAP A.
Is not an obligation of the management to provide you forward looking answer.

Posted by TradingFUN > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

When you posted your questions in front of the shareholders in EGM , you are not giving a tough time to the management , you just look like a fool to those know how to analyze the financial statement and the information inside the circular

Posted by TradingFUN > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

Have you ever think about that by keep on posting negative comments here without study the information in details , you make others that try to seek advice from this forum in stressful mode ?

Posted by TradingFUN > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

Pls do you reserach before keep on posting those baseless negative comments.Pls be fair to others in the forum.

The question you should ask is why capA did not answer my follow up/clarification questions?

By the way it is now up to Bursa SC whether shareholder has the rights to ask follow up/clarification question and listed company is obliged to answers follow up clarification questions on answers given to AGM Q&A?

By the way can capA avoid answering my questions during the EGM Q&A?

Tony just told me that The management will always entertain any question in a very courteous and professional manner. But wrt your questions SotSot Lee, the management are worried that they will look like a fool in front of shareholders for entertaining stoopid questions from stoopid person like you. That's why they will not answer your stoopid questions.

Me I already earned RM 231,020.30 in dividend alone so far this year.

Before you put your hard earned money into stocks investing please at least learn how to read financial report and hold BOD accountable, reponsible and answerable during AGM/EGM.

There are too many pump and dump in Bursa.

Posted by TradingFUN > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

@SSLEE my report for this year.

Dividend about RM200k. Capital gain more than RM1,000,000. Yet to include gain from AAX and CapitalA which I expect another million in 6 months.

You are not sharing facts. You just cut and paste from financial statement without going through the details.

Fool will only keep on asking foolish questions.

Smart person will keep silence and only ask reasonable and meaningful questions when needed

By the way , I have professional qualification in financial analysis. That's why all your questions looks foolish to me.

Posted by TradingFUN > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

Let's enjoy our great moment from AAX and CAP A for the next 6 months.

Posted by TradingFUN > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

@SSLEE this is my report card in Bursa.

My main focus is international market. US and Japan.

Sslee

As I said there are many pump and dump syndicate members in i3forum.

So can you beleive someone already made so much money from international market but still busy at capA forum?

What the used of claiming himself as having professional qualification in financial analysis but can't even understand capA is technically a insolvent/bankrupt company?
And again if aviation is so profitable then why the need to dispose AAAGL and AAB to AAX?

As at 30/6/2024
RM'000
Non current assets 26,053,575
Current assets 2,319,481
Non current liabilities 23,819,165
Current liabilities 15,798,326
Net current liabilities (13,478,846)
Total equity (11,244,436)
NTA RM (2.12)
Note:
Current lease liabilities 5,510,697
Current trade and other payables 4,725,450

Is capA with above financial balance sheet a tecnically insolvent/bankrupt company?
How on earth can capA not default on net current liabilities of RM 13,478,846,000 in the next 12 months?

I am here just to share my comments and whether my comments are negative or positive, its did not brother me.

sslee is good for you to keep asking questions to the BOD to clear what you dont understand. However, to be effective then do attend AGM or EGM. You did miss last meeting.

"By the way I make myself an AAX shareholder and this time round I will ask the difficult questions on AAX aquisition of AAAGL and AAB.

And will AAX fall into PN17 after taking over the assets and liabilities of AAAGL and AAB?"
The answer for this question is in the details of the proposal. Read the details to understand how the proposal work and what PN17 really mean accounting wise.

CapA
As at 30/6/2024
RM'000
Non current assets 26,053,575
Current assets 2,319,481
Non current liabilities 23,819,165
Current liabilities 15,798,326
Net current liabilities (13,478,846)
Total equity (11,244,436)

My question to AAX BOD/Auditor will be very simple
1. With the acquisition of AAAGL what will be
A. Non current assets
B. Current assets
C. Non current liabilities
D. Current liabilities
transfer to AAX?

2. With the acquisition of AAB what will be
A. Non current assets
B. Current assets
C. Non current liabilities
D. Current liabilities
transfer to AAX?

3.After acqusition of AAAGL and AAB what will be AAX
A. Non current assets
B. Current assets
C. Non current liabilities
D. Current liabilities

4. With net current liabilities of RMx,xxx, xxx, xxx how BOD ensure AAX will not default on payment obligation of current liabilities in the next 12 months?
