When the warrants are to be listed, Bursa will give the Warrants a " Reference Price", based on a simple mathematical formula.
Let say, the Warrants are to list on 13/11, then the Reference Price should be :
Closing Price of GCB mother share at 5pm on 12/11 less RM 1.65.
Assuming that is RM 2.30 at 5pm on 12/11, then :
Reference Price = RM 2.30 less RM 1.65 = RM 0.65
That's only Bursa's Reference Price.
What the opening price for trading depends on what the market gives as " Time Value" plus the Reference Price. So, based on above example, maybe the Warrants might open at RM 1 or higher or lower.
