let say 10k shares @ 0.025... after consolidate will become 2500 shares (4:1 mean 4 shares become 1 shares, so 10000/4) ONLY at 0.100 (0.025 x 4) per shares. The value of shares in your portfolio remain the same but the TOTAL of shares become LESSER.
some say good some say bad.. Good because lesser floating shares outside, easier to push up higher blah blah blah.
Bad is earning become lesser, investor(s) always at the losing side regardless what other people arguing... Example with your 10k shares holding = +0.100 will land you RM1k profit before consolidation but now +0.1 only land you RM 250 after consolidation. Yes, your money or investment need to work 4 TIMES harder in order to have a similar profit.
And also 1 thing to highlight. The announcement is USD 0.01 per shares become USD 0.04 per shares. What is the exchange rate they are using? Are they using current USD/RM or USD/RMB (China) roughly at 4.3xx or even they own benchmark cincai set at 3.50 based on current shares value?
There is a big different oooo.. Converted to RM is RM 0.043 become RM0.172 per shares if using current exchange rate. Or their own benchmark RM 0.035 become RM 0.14... 3 cents different. Current price closed at 0.035
Well, i never traded consolidation before. Hope some master sifu or experienced investor can answer it more accurately.
Hmmmm.. from what i see today in this counter, i guess many stuck at 0.035??? I dont think the price will go up more than that. this week 0.035 will be at sell queue.. next week will be buy queue. then go back to sell queue 0.035 until consolidation comes. Good luck. Bye
i've been looking in this counter for a week plus now. Can anyone explain what is stock consolidation and if it is worth to buy some of the stocks now?
stock consolidation something like combination of share. e.g 1,000shares will become 250 shares after conso based on ratio 4:1 and the price from RM0.05 will become RM0.20 per shares.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
