-probably going to get 30b credit line from the government
-expansion
-why they can sell 20-30% cheaper

Precovid Harta is growth stock so deserved a PE of 27x. Post covid it is survival of the fittest:

"BIMB Securities said it remains concerned about the broader rubber glove industry's recovery to pre-Covid levels.
This includes structural issues, particularly the oversupply resulting from massive production by Chinese manufacturers that continue to pose significant challenges"

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 7): BIMB Securities has upgraded Hartalega Holdings Bhd (KL:HARTA) to a “hold” recommendation with a target price (TP) of RM2.60 after recent declines in the stock.

"Due to the recent decline in share price, we have upgraded Hartalega to a hold call from a sell, with an unchanged TP of RM2.60, based on its 3-year average pre-Covid forward PE of 27x, pegged to CY26F EPS of 9.6sen.," it said in a note on Wednesday.

This after Hartalega's 1QFY2025 core profit after tax and minority interest of RM31.9 million met its in-house expectations, accounting for 23.1% of BIMB Securities’ full-year forecast, but short of market estimates at 16.3%.

"We make no changes to FY25-27F earnings forecast," it added.

The research house said Hartalega is expected to sustain positive earnings driven by improved sales volumes and higher utilisation rates.

However, it noted that the rubber glove industry's recovery to pre-Covid levels faces hurdles due to structural issues and oversupply from Chinese manufacturers.

"We expect its earnings to return to pre-Covid level only in FY27/28F onwards

economies of scale only work in volume. it has slashed its inefficient arm give it some time to grow back and further integrate. the margin will grow back over time

Invested day one, never expected to make big bucks but it just came ...up to now ain't expecting much as well, just the ordinary small potato investing money in a stable good reputable company, once in a while getting dividend contributing to my yearly backpacking overseas :)....aiyoh why always said long term investors expecting the same old same peak time return...as long as the company kicking and alive long term, win win for all..great management, good product, reasonably good dividend, good csr, esg is considered a good investment ...should be only for me :) small potato investor :>
Goreng2 or no goreng :> is all up to all the intelligent investors out there...in the end of the day it is all bout return into our own pocket short term or long term :)

LOL jokers are back, red eyes. Earning forecasts is a he say she say, nobody has magic ball. Whoever confident that their prediction is 100% will come true is the laughable one. Everything has risk, everyone has their own estimate. If you are good at trading, go ahead, buy high sell low, but have you made 100% return doing that? If you simply bought at RM1.5 and waited, that is still almost 80% gain as of today, in such a bad market sentiment.

If you dont have magic ball, then just share your estimate, and dont judge others'. If you want to judge others, then so can others judge you. I would say those that say it is impossible to return to pre-covid days laughable. It is a matter of time - when it will, not whether. Unless you are predicting the whole glove industry in Malaysia to die.

If that is your prediction, then I would disagree with you. And I would wonder why are you here? Like Natsuko perhaps? Make a lot of losses in other counters and trying to make ppl sell glove to buy your co?

Harta made 450million annual profit in 2019. FY2025 Q1 itself is RM32mil, 100% growth from previous qr and we know the market supply is not at equilibrium now (possibly still quite a bit before reaching equilibrium). And you are saying even after equilibrium, harta cant profit RM100m per quarter? IT will NEVER return to that level? Who is laughable?

If you are so negative about the industry, then go away la, come here for what? You're shorting? If yes, better put your money where your mouth is, then I will know when to cheer when you get squeezed.
