So who has been selling? Foreign Shareholdings have been stagnant & stable for last six months @ 12.0%, Top 5 shareholders holds approx 60.0% and others like ASB,LTAT,etc perhaps another 5-10%. Remaining which is us holding less than 20.0% between 1 to 10 lots sizes but totalling 91.0% of total number of shareholders. (data from Annual Report). Tenaga have been bearish since 2021 - only time warrant a look is Mar & Sept 2021 - price action manage to get above 200 days MA. But heck most brokerage is calling buy TP RM11 to RM12.50. So who has been selling - most likely not us small fry which also happens to outnumber in numbers of shareholders. The price action will tell you when its ready else it just grinding one way but profitable. IMHO

borrow cheap when rates down.when rates go up..u have to pay more by buying more expensive us dollars as well as higher interest....

Tenaga is run by coal. Coal price so expensive where can make money, plus election, plus green energy, plus US stock tumbles. Expect for the worst.

Coal expensive can increase tariff. If tariff increase not approved Government will compensate. TNB is not a Santa Claus. It still made around 16sen a share in the latest quarter.

EPF is the culprit of the sharp price drop, almost sell 300k per day.
But EPF holding such huge of 916m shares, so the figure is totally negligible.
The real reason of EPF selling is unknown but I guess they need the cash for their own agenda only.
So if you still look good at TNB this is actually the good chance to collect cheap from EPF.

ICPT where the Govt will compensate tenaga for any increase in cost. So don’t worry abt extra cost as Tenaga will have sustainable profit and dividend. Tenaga is the safest bet at this time of uncertainty!!!

@Understand, you don't understand anything, otherwise you won't keep saying that TNB would drop to RM4.50 and the Government won't compensate TNB for not being able to hike electricity tariffs due to the cost increase in energy generation. Go and do some research.

KLCI index is really in bad shape. High oil price will always do good for our GDP , we might see a rally only if it sustain above 100 for next 6 months more . Really hoping the local institution is doing the shake out before their accumulation. they are not here to loose money too. Shorts are increasing back from 0.12 to 0.25 % of total net short position within ~1.5months. TNB , our national security will not do badly in the coming quarterly unless another round of special taxes. Good luck with the uncertainty.
