0234 GMT [Dow Jones] A sharp rally in Asia crude palm oil prices on Monday, has supported oilseed futures in the U.S., says Commonwealth Bank of Australia; "Canola oil, with its higher oil content, benefited the most on the day." Key for palm oil prices Tuesday will be the release of export estimate data from both Intertek and SGS later in the session as the market will be looking to see whether export demand continues to hold up. The benchmark palm-oil contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange closed up MYR84 ringgit a ton at MYR2,649 a ton. (lucy.craymer@wsj.com)

HONG KONG--Malaysia's palm-oil exports during the Sept. 1-20 period are estimated to have fallen 11% from the previous month at 914,264 metric tons, cargo surveyor Intertek Agri Services said Tuesday.

Another surveyor, SGS (Malaysia) Bhd., is expected to issue its estimate later Tuesday.

The following are the major items in the Intertek estimate:

MKH has done very well with Hillpark Shah Alam North in Puncak Alam. Since its debut in 2013, about 65% of the 550 acres township has been launched. You don't see this very often in Klang Valley. With now more developers flocking into the area, it will be good for everybody as they are building up and elevate the whole areas. They can joint force to build the main access road too. MKH, Ecoworld, IJM, LBS, KLK and Glomac are already there.

As land cost is cheaper, the developers can market products that are more affordable.

I hope that MKH can get some more land in that area because there is less than 35% land left in Hillpark Shah Alam North for MKH to develop.

Property may be bad at this time but MKH is in the medium and medium upper market segment. Their products are priced affordably. At this market, there are still genuine buyers buying house for own occupations. The main thing is MKH knows how to launch products to capture the smaller pool of buyers.

It seems that the JV with PanaHome on Maple project is working well. Japanese construction techniques should bring savings hence better profit margin. MKH should capitalise further on this. Yes, getting more land in Puncak Alam should boost MKH.
