No wonder the shares drop earlier and he picked up again......there was a period of pause fr him when he threaten to leave. Then came back to try to sapu all again. What a character.
You have put a chinese word at the end of your posting, but I tell the reader carefully of wolf in sheep skin....
Do you understand the word "I bought" used in the comment? Is that word an opinion? Common sense brother....I am not catching on the word opinion but am catching on the fact that he wrote what he bought explicitly but forgot he wrote and earlier caption which differ! The line of comment ie I bought was to gain trust?
Melvin G, it's not for me to confront anybody....I am merely sharing an obvious disparity of a seemingly good trader willing to share free info. Learn but not be easily deceived. Take his good points but when anyone starts to try to convince, pls question.
If this was a blog, I thinks it fair for him to share his buying but this however is a public domain of sharing. Don't be offended I hope, I am also sharing my opinion .
Please check the sequence of my writing, when the price dropped a lot, I told all that I bought the share instead of selling. I sold all the shares the next day after big drop.
You are talking nonsense again here, I do not need permission from you to sell my share. I can trade my ways using my skill to maximize profit. I am a trader at times.
I never ask you to buy the share, final decision is yours.
OTB, the sequence is exactly as is....I am not here to argue but it's clear there for ppl to see. And no I did not buy as you shared but I did put into my follow up folder to see how accurate over time.
Now good time for me to remove, as the person who shares does not have my trust. Sorry just my sincere opinion!
No one is compelled to follow opinions or advice given in this forum, but if you follow and things dont go exactly as hoped for, pls dont get angry. all I know is, I appreciate OTB and all the others who share some of their knowledge and analysis with us because I, and a great many others, are greatly lacking in this area. Finally, I try to apply loads of commonsense to what I do, buy or sell, and win or lose it is my final decision. No fault to anyone if I lose.
Stock price will not go up like a straight line, it moves up and down, need time to consolidate before it can move up again.
There is a difference between a trader and an investor. An investor buys and holds share until the target is hit. A trader will trade once there is an opportunity. A trader will sell near resistance and buy back near support to maximize profit. A trader will "Long" and also "Short" once there is an opportunity. Ask yourself "are you a trader or an investor ?"
It is the strategy that counts not a matter of trust.
I had made clear that I am a trader and a chartist, I will trade when there is an opportunity to make money.
The most important thing Ooi said is a takeover offer of KHSB at 76 sen would be made. If you read his post, then you have to make your decision whether this could be trusted. Then you have to decide, again yourself what price to buy. You also have to decide yourself how you want to deal with your shares; keep it until the takeover, sell at what price and buy back again; sell at what price before the dateline etc. Why do you have to look at what price Ooi buys, what price he sells, whether he keeps the share until the dateline etc? It is fair to say that if Ooi said he bought at 60 sen and that it is good to keep until 76 sen, that he can't do any selling after that? He must keep to 76 sen as he said? Whatever he said, you have to make your own decision. You seriously think that a person doesn't own the shares when he recommends to buy, and that he still owns it when he recommend to sell? Like what this guy Cold Eye said, “你没做功课,还赖三赖四,明明是你不会游泳,又不想去学游泳,还要跟我下海游泳?”
Quote of the day: 'There is a difference between a trader and an investor. An investor buys and holds share until the target is hit. A trader will trade once there is an opportunity. A trader will sell near resistance and buy back near support to maximize profit. A trader will "Long" and also "Short" once there is an opportunity. Ask yourself: Are you a trader or an investor?' - OTB
some view 'promote' as sharing... it's really individual's choice. guess u have taken his word too seriously, forgot that this is securities market?
take it easy bro, think about it, kdeb is political linked. as discussed b4, v don't know what other hidden agenda may assoc with this deal. but v can have trade plan for it, rather than words.
looks like selangor state gov reputation can b affected by this one :D
The words context is just how he play....not that I am focus or serious. If he is truly wanting to share as chartis or trader.... Share from neutral ground perspective, why the need to convince and now I have caught the disparity.
Read Nextrade and you understand what I mean by neutral. No sharing of what to buy but just pure charts to speak for itself. If you still buy and lose, the either the chart is wrong or the one interpreting the chart is wrong or external forces which may wrong the chart....fair statement?
bro, if the deal is finally signed off, it will be embarass. practically, if u r holding at high & feeling really uneasy now, u can consider reduce yr shares. great opportunities r around :)
Alex do recomend potential buy or sell calls if the stock is under value and over value.
What if the deal can only get done after June but you are judging in such a short time frame, just because your buying price is higher or you might not even buying any.
One can easily sold his share when it is overbought or buyback more when it is oversold. You wan higher return, you buy the share, you take the risk and you wait. Simple?
If one tells you the share (RM 1.50) is great and it is going to have a big harvest in next 5 years, let's say (RM 4.4) but on the third year it dropped to RM 1.24 (just like your case), and stucked there for 1 year (continue on the 4th year) before flying to RM 5.4, is he lying ?
No, what i can see is the greed and foolishness of the punter.
You know the chart is wrong, the one interpreting is wrong or external forces which maywrong the chart, why not you give us some good sample ?
You wouldn't. Because no 1 can predict the market, Mr Jacko.
melvin, in yr example, he is lying, as u said, no one can predict market, then y 'the one' predicted $5.4? let alone 5 yrs away?! hahahaa... put it this way, anyone can say anything, esp in a public forum
closed at 65 cents, but for 65 cents... the volume is only 63,900 unit...they just want to dump at higher price and keep the momentum, now look at the chart, really if u can read the 'chart', and plus what i've said before... absolutely not even a single unit changes in majority shareholder, Mr Kcchongnz , the Menteri Besar or KDEB o KPS or PKNS (or any fund) need not administer the movement of khsb in the market, just command their officers to 'buy' in the market at suitable/lower price in the market... it's not happening, now i'm 70% believe , that this is PKR scam to gather fund for election expenses...just like what umno did with tiger, xox and dscol
i think Mr Ooi has target upside for KHSB ... long term, yet co-incidentally (although before it has happened years before)...the 'offer' came along... yet it is a scam. so congrat Mr Ooi, though i myself lost
after reading both parties' posting, nobody is wrong as everyone can express their views here,,, ooi has said that decision is yours & jacko as well as anbz have right to express their individual views on ooi's preaching as this is public forum.. Read or not read, agree or not agree are the readers' decision.
Thanks Desmond. Everybody can write, but not everybody can write responsibly especial ly those who are supposedly leaders. Since definition was given for trader and investor, I thought I share leadership in individual areas be it TA, FA, systems...
"Leadership has been described as “a process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task".[1] "^
Mr OTB, you do not need to answer to your critics. The fact that you took the trouble to provide a lengthy answer demonstrates your sincerity. If I lose or not lose in the market is entirely up to the decision I take, and this should be abundantly clear to everyone that the decisions they take are fully of their own free will.
Of course what you have said is very true. But there are limits to this so called opinion and free will. Give you an example, if a young or able beggar comes to you asking for money, you have the right not to give , yes? That's free will. But it the syndicate to the beggar makes them look pathetic or worst than they are, like crippled, blind or simply exploit an old woman, it's still free will right to give or not to give? However the second case will have you giving because you are kind but at the same time you have been exploited of your emotions. Similarly this is also a method they use to convince you right.
Now I am not suggesting anybody here is doing that, but merely pointing a parallel in the art to convince.
hey jacko why do u like offending people. how true are u that its the sydicate at work. what is ur proof. anyone can give whatever opinion as he wishes to as this is a public forum. a person quilt must be proven first b4 u prosecute them. this merely ur speculation of mr Ooi comments.
they are so many so called prominent analysis such as osk, rhb, hlb, cimb, pbb etc which every now and then release their so called buy/sell/hold and target price for reference to their readers yet some did'nt work out as well but no one ever critise them.
so, i hope u guys, be fair to mr ooi. he writes so politely and yet got a spanking from u guys. if feel his comments have no substance just ignored him and do not try potraying as saint to save the world. share market is a game for adults, be resposible to ur own and be a men to face any consequences.
2cents opinion, thank you.
