Land held for development & property development cost increased in tandem with TBB which would be gradually repaid upon receipt of the progressive claim from end buyers' financiers. It doesnt really matter whether the company is paying dividend as the profit or cash generated should be used for the current operation.
It does matter if no dividend if I go for yield, unless the potential capital gain is strong. Any comment whether good to invest for short/medium term ? Hardly any news on this company.
Loading a bit, read up about coy. Doing quite ok, but not much news about company. High NTA , NA and GDV. Sadly may not be strong upside unless company opened up to analysts. Any idea whether this will happened since you said " coming soon " Can share ah ??
BCB is not for short term play. I think we need to be able to hold for at least 12 months to see better results. The GDV is quite impressive. We should attend the next AGM, probably within the next 6 months and grill the Board to reveal more details and be more proactive with the investing public, be it analysts and funds.
Investors' activism is a healthy phenomenon which should be encouraged. It is good to promote this to convert passive shareholders to active ones. We have seen so many cases of companies being defrauded by management/directors and there were hardly any action taken to bring these people to book.
We have also seen many good solid companies where the management/directors hardly do anything to promote the companies thereby trapping investors under the "value trap" investments.
I am encouraging investors to question the Board as to why there were no dividends declared, why are there so many Tans on board, what is the company doing to raise the profile of the company, what is their plan to reduce the loans, what are the plans to improve liquidity in the stock etc etc. It will be very enlightening for the Board to shed some light on these matters.
4th quarter results will be out soon, latest 31 August 2014. Interests seemed to be building up. Hopefully, this last quarter for FY 2014 will surprise on the up side.

Strong movement yesterday, is a first ever rating really imminent ?? Or the coming quarterly results exciting ? With Dow down last night, today could be a good day to buy.
Dow could be weak, war could be on going, Argentina on technical default ( they want to pay the 500 million bond interests but a US court banned the payment until certain so called " vulture hedge funds are paid first. Argentina not paying the vulture funds because it will trigger implication on other bond holders )
But if you have a medium to long term view, it will be easier to shut out the noises. There are always opportunities if you take a bottoms up approach , notwithstanding macro weaknesses.
However, your target may not be achieved if the company does not actively engage with the investing public.

haha means the broker will earn big? i got a friend which her broker intro this stock to her too... this share many aunty and those run-when-drop-people will buy. mont kiara good response? i doubt so as there are so many condos in mont kiara looking for buyers. anything interest in kluang besides it's 2 hour drive to Singapore (excluding traffic)? outskirt of urban area is still not popular with it's land asset YET, at least for this coming 5 years. the only reason? even it's intrinsic value is worth RM2.40 a discount of 40% needs to be factored in. read my 2 cents of opinion with a pinch of salt
furthermore, this company still have not declare divvy for years, for those who are interested please do consider as a drawbacks too. all your profit will be reinvest back to the company and once crisis happens, all your earnings gone to the drain
short term profit in my opinion: Rm1.45. if kena goreng by IB: rm1.80 possible ( but very unlikely as this is a small/mid cap stocks
mid day down, push up in the end,obviously played by big head.when you sell,the buyer retreats,all false action.suddenly vol. increase and price up,and then silent down even no deal whole day! do not buy,may be one day,no buyer for u to sell.
Share price staged a breakout after Raya from 1.09 until high of 1.37 and now consolidating for more than 2 weeks already. Stock is illiquid . But if it could build a base around the 1.26 to 1.29 level, it should be good.
