SHAH ALAM: The process of transferring state water assets to Federal Government entity, Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd (PAAB) will be completed within 60 days, said Mohamed Azmin Ali.
The asset transfer was part of the water restructuring master agreement signed on Sept 12 last year, followed by a supplemental agreement inked on July 11.
"We are now given 60 days to hold discussions with PAAB to determine the list of assets that will be leased to the Selangor state government and other terms and conditions," said the Selangor Menteri Besar.
"We will present a list agreement on the assets between PAAB and Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd and settle it within the stipulated time.
"Everything is going on well and smoothly," he said when met during the Selangor Hari Raya open house event at the Stadium Shah Alam here Sunday.
Selangor's Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah graced the event, which started at 10am and attracted more than 5,000 members of the public who thronged the stadium as early as 9am.
Azmin noted that the Selangor state government had agreed to surrender four water assets in exchange for another two in Semenyih and Bukit Nenas, which had been a point of dispute.
"The four assets, which included treatment plants and dams, have the same value as the assets in Semenyih and Bukit Nanas," he said, adding that Selangor state government has no problem with water assets to be transferred to PAAB.
The signing of the supplemental water agreement between the Federal Government and Selangor was seen as a positive step towards ending an impasse that has dragged on since 2008.
Azmin and Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is also the chairman of the Special Cabinet Committee on Selangor Water Issues, witnessed the signing in Putrajaya earlier.
Among conditions laid out in the deal was to allow the restructuring exercise to proceed with the concessionaire companies' water assets (CCWA) accepted by Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd (PAAB), without Selangor giving up its land while complying with the requirements of the Water Services Industry Act.

I'm not familiar with symphony house and ranhill, but i think both have miss opptunity to expedite on reverse take over when crude oil still stay above US100 last year compared to current crude oil slump by almost half to US 55....the valuation for most of the oil and gas company also cut in tandem cut by at least half, from demanding PE >15x (last year) to fair PE now <8x (current year)
I have managed to sell Puncak-W and buy similar Puncak shares for the past few days with a RM 0.89 - 0.90 differences per share. Wonder if this is a right move?
In this Puncak triathlon race, currently is the last 100m race. Although tiring and patience tested to max, there is no observable obstruction in front, why not keep crawling if you cant run anymore toward the finishing line. If you got Puncak now, i see no good reason to sell now... Puncak-wa premium is probably due to higher profit margin than mother share upon completion of the S&P i think....
I already said "things" can happen very quickly. I am sure Roger also got "inside Info" too. But only start collecting today---too slow ma. Tomolo Puncak will be in North Pole.
I think i am about to finish my collection ( no thanks to Roger ). Regardless what will happen Langat2 will proceed. At 2.74 average, I will keep Puncak at 1.74 after Ex-Date--a Good investment considering Rozali is bidding for Langat2 project.
Roger needs to collect 1.5mil. Maybe today will hit 2.80. Even 1.80 after ex-date is still very okay. Considering Rozali is liquidating Chinese biz and will be very cash rich in 2016---bidding langat2 project without borrowing will surely net 20% return ( borrowing interest rate will be atleast 8%+++ in 2016 as Janet Yellen is going to increase US rate )
I heard it from a friend (maybe rumour--Rozali want to sell China biz bcoz of collection problem) Actual China growth is only 4-5% but official is 7-8%. Wages is increasing fast. Actually I am paying more wages in Shenzhen, China than in KL for ordinary workers.
If EPF and LTH didn't Sell during this 60 days, it is most likely EPF will "Goreng" Up the price post Ex-date to 2.20 / 2.30 to collect a huge profit. Without us "kacau-kacau" the price, EPF can have the whole market for himself.
Singor, thanks. Why are you expecting only ex-date price of 2.20/2.30? I was kind of hoping that 3.70 is not far from now. Good to know hng33 is back to puncak too.
Since most of the capital from Puncak already swap to OSK (average cost RM 1.886), IGBREITS (average cost RM 1.294), i'm opt for cheaper alternative to Puncak, bought Puncak-CG at 13sen for much cheaper cost and high gear up percentage exposure
Do not get disappointed too soon....as your Rm 3.70 target....is very close to Hong Leong Estimate. As it goes closer to the finalization or completion....the price of Puncak....will be going up higher.
