this puncak always trap investors, that time when it announced the take over plan, it shoot up to RM3.6 then dropped till below 2.5, now announced rm1 dividend, the price is just below rm3, trapped those bought above rm3 just now again, it may drop further tomorrow

Disappointing run indeed. perhaps it just shows severe lack of confidence in PUNCAK management moving forward. Not sure about now but the last time I dealt indirectly with them, they seem to have all the ailments of a badly run GLCs. Can't do much outside their political circle.

when rcecap announced special dividend recently, the share price shoot up from 33sen to 41sen in 1 day! that's +24%
when puncak announced special dividend yesterday, the share price up only 3%.

@speakup i rmmber abt cenbond 20s special div too. up 13s if not mistaken. im no pro, but if i rly wanna hold, i wud wait abit since i know first day will shoot up like crazy. I think most on us are staying by-side looking how price works first, which translate into weak run. Today's run is just by day-traders and sharks. just my 2cents.

ya, we have been waiting since last year, all experts are talking about > 3.5 fair value, now....? better invest in other counters like FLBHD, VS, Pohuat and other export oriented companies...however, I think there are institutions throwing today, lets see whether there is any announcement. Once finish throwing, it may go up above 3.

kahhoeng, I have been away from this forum since months ago, bought some this morning but is being trapped now, may be I bought from hng33 this morning...lol. my average price is below rm3 now. I know you have been holding it for quite some times. Just hope Puncak can find another good business soon.

annchua, it may still reach 3.80 after a clearer picture about how Puncak will spend its billions cash and anal-ysts like what they see. I will definitely sell should anal-ysts like how Puncak spends its billions.

As told here even before market start, get ready to be rewarded, and as expect since yesterday also for 10% gain in Puncak and 30% gain in Puncak cg, portfolio manage to sell all Puncak at 3.07 - 3.08, and sold Puncak cg even at higher margin at 14 - 16 sen.........then wait to buyback...., later, manage .bought back at 2.94 - 2.96, then sold back again at 2.98......then .....decided to continue keep exposure, buyback some at 2.96 again and was plan to wait to buyback more later on weakness......but.....distracted with hibiscus.....busy contra profiting trading on it........hahaha.

As always, once I sold Puncak at 3.07-3.08, many here start again to skeptical why sell...!??? .....then people start to complaining again on why Puncak cannot trade above RM 3.00..... Which in essential is why these people dun want to realize their profit when stock trade at 3.08... But curses and show desperate when puncak trade at 2.93......and recycle again again their disppointment.....desperate when puncak trade at 2.40, desperate also when puncak trade at 2.50... Then 2.60.... Then 2.70..... Then again unhappy after puncak trade at 2.80..... 2.90......3.00....never satisfied by realize profit and buyback......but only know to keep on show disppointment.....

hng33, alas, not everyone is as sharp as you in trading... I, for example, have actually thought about selling at 3.07-3.08 too (that's before seeing your post), but didn't manage to make it, believing there is still some potential left and decide to keep.
