Buy when everyone is fearful. Otherwise, you cannot get this cheap sale. The riot is temporary only !! Vietnamese government still need foreign investment, she has to do her job to protect investor's interest. Factory is burned, can claim insurance or not ? Sure can, any loss ? No loss at all.

Somehow I find the price did not drop much from a high of around 3.20 (intra-day high) and most of the time this stock is trading at 3.01-3.10 level. That is only a drop of 30 sen, and please don't forget the stock has ran from 2.70+ to 3.00+ just 2, 3 weeks ago.

At current price of 2.80+, I really don't see any incentive nudging this stock given the potent outbreak of a Sino-Vietnamese stand-off

A stock is breaking new high, the price will not drop a lot. The momentum to go up is still high.
I like this stock because it is breaking new high. If not because of this riot, I have no chance to buy cheap.

Personally I think there is a possibility to get it @ lower price, I am still waiting to accumulate more. It's a good counter, but I don't know when the riot will be over, in order to lower the risk I think something under 2.60 would be good to go.

Reading some of the comments, I think everyone's target entry price is around 1.00. If the share price really did reach 1.00, their target entry price will be 0.80. Eventually, they'll only enter if they get it for free/or get paid to enter.

when WB quoted so, he has done thorough fundamental analysis and risk assessment and found that the targeted company is very safe.
Seeing the current uncertain situation in Vietnam, I have an opinion that this company does not fix the underlying criteria of the quote.

The prerequisite of adopting WB's famous investment rule is that one must know the target company at the very least. Case in point : Coca-cola. You don't need to really study thoroughly what is KO to invest in it at a beaten down price because of an unexpected external shock. Just like the Sino-Vietnamese spat now.

Vietnam serves as a gateway to exporting products to the members of Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) and ASEAN countries. Those Taiwanese companies don't have much choices in order to enjoy such benefits. Furthermore, they would still able to enjoy low unskilled labor costs in the next few years. Riot is just a temporary setback.

4)大部分的越南人还是理智的,要工作才有前途,一定可以很快正常化.
5)简单算,兩季己赚3357万,eps=34.5 sen . 5月底Q3(1,2,3的业绩)应有1500万,eps=15 sen
Q1+Q2+Q3=4857万,eps=49.5 sen .
a)现在价位Rm2.86 (pe=5.7),若合理的pe=7,价位=Rm3.46
b)Q4(因逢排华)取赚700万,EPS=7 SEN
Q1+Q2+Q3+Q4=56.5 SEN .合理的PE=7 .价位=Rm3.95
