RM-usd appreciates 1%, profit drops 1%. RM has so far gained 13%. so GT's profit will drop by 13% from currency exchg only.

When RM is high, GT is RM6.7, adjusts the 13% less profit from currency, GT should be RM6.7-13%=RM5.83.

Adjust another 10% drop from lackluster semi-con industry, GT should be RM5.83-10%=RM5.25.

What do you think ?

My friend went to the plant in Bayan Lepas during lunch time,there is no smoke or fire or fire engine and traffic around the plant is smooth. So we think there is no fire. The news of fire at plant is fake.

heard that its swiss customer is ordering half of what was expected for the sensors. it's a real change in fundamentals and analysts are going to cut their target price. try to avoid it until the storm calms down

QR is EXPECTED to be poor so it's not the reason behind this crash. have u seen a counter drop so drastically just bcos of "expected" poor results? it's bigger problem causing this n globetronics is dragging down all other tech counters. for those who still believe in its fundamentals n want to collect, pls b patient n u could collect it possibly cheaper
