Master-Pack Group may rise higher, says RHB Retail Research
RHB Retail Research said Master-Pack Group Bhd may rise higher after it closed above the RM1.20 threshold.

In a trading stocks note today, the research house said with the 21-day SMA line edging upwards, this suggests a likelihood of increasing demand in the near term.

“A positive bias may emerge above the RM1.20 level, with an exit set below the RM1.10 threshold.

“Towards the upside, the immediate resistance is at RM1.30 level. This is followed by the RM1.40 level,” it said.

For the first quarter ended March 31, 2019 (1QFY19), its net profit more than doubled to RM3.1 million versus RM1.41 million previously. Quarterly revenue rose 40% to RM47.52 million annually compared with RM33.85 million. The better performance was attributed to a higher volume of deliveries to its customers. Master-Pack expects a higher FY19 revenue than the previous year’s, with its ongoing programmes to reduce cost and increase productivity and efficiency.

Company committed to achieve RM200m revenue this FY. Based on Q1 result, this full year eps should be 5.67 cents x 200m / 47.523m = 23.86 cents. Thus, what is the reasonable tp with lower cost for paper as raw material?

Bravo! the net profit up 12.40% QoQ and up 171.11% YoY.
I would say the current quarter results look like the strongest result in the history, the company has recorded continuous growth for past six financial quarter, both revenue (50,557k) and net profit (3,481k) has hit a record high in current quarter results.

Profit margin for this recent two quarters were 8.0% and 7.8%. I think it's sustainable. Now we just focusing on revenue and its business in Vietnam.
