22avenue, the 12.66% of DY is not absolutely right. This DY become so high is due to the lower closing price after share split on June. If based on the financial year, the actual DY is only about 3% (0.1/6.5 + 0.025/1.6). Beside, the 12.66% is based on latest 12 month, which is included the 2014 dividend paid (2014-12-31).
For the same quarter of September for 2014 and 2015, LTKM EBITDA drop from 12.79mil to 5.5mil. For the same quarter of June for 2014 and 2015, earning (EBITDA) also drop from 11.25mil to 3.9mil. This mainly due to the lower revenue and increase in the operating expenses.
Earnings dropped but price to earnings is still attractive. The main point that everyone has not seen is the asset value of the share. The latest quarterly Net Asset Per Share is around RM 1.70. So if the company liquidates now, the share is worth RM 1.70 to equity holders. No brainer to buy a share worth below its book value. My two cents.
beware of the Net Asset Per Share thing. If a company is in losing money trend while still "going concern", you will be shocked that before next quarter report, Net Asset Per Share could drop significantly...
LTKM: Sells land in Klang for RM26.0m. LTKM’s unit, Lumi Jaya SB, has disposed a 2.13ha industrial land in Kapar, Klang, for RM26.0m to JM Asiajaya SB. “The sale proceeds from the proposed disposal is expected to be utilised for future acquisition of landbank and/or for working capital purposes for the group,” LTKM said. Technically LTKM is not as efficient as LayHong and QL in corporate branding and economic of scale production. regret to buy ltkm instead of the other 2. Got attracted by their good demand and present in Hong Kong and China
Wondering what is their core business now? How come the exposure in property development is so high and yet there is none revenue coming from this sector? What is the future direction of this company?
When will the egg price start going up? Seeing that the profit been deteriorating, will it affect the dividend policy? I had purchase many LTKM shares at price of RM 1.65. Right now, the shares seems like free falling. Should i sell off all the shares? Kindly advise....
