Most of ppl here are mistaken the gloves price by the look and material. Why are some gloves are so expensive in market while some are sell online are dirt cheap?
That is bc there are more standard certification and testing on a expensive gloves. The company will need to spend a big some of money maintaining certification and testing in factory. All these cost will added to the products cost. As a result the product price is more expensive. Likely this coming QR will reflect a drop in revenue and PAT due to the lockdowns and dropping ASP, and this has been reflected in the current low price. My estimate for coming QR PAT is ard 500mil. I know some cowardly guy will not agree. However, the following QR shall see better results due to catching of the back log orders, and ASP will stabilize at the same time. Same goes to TG and rest of glovemakers.

China gloves will face more headwind going forward bcos of the political and economic conflict with US/UK/EU/Japan/OZ. They will impose more restrictions on the medical products. Once US re-impose the medical products tariff on China glove, the rest will follow suite to impose more restrictions. UK and EU have been raising ESG issues against China glove makers too. I believe China gloves would be less of a threat than what was feared. If US reimposed the tariff, ASP may also rise in tandem with the tariff.

We shall be happy if we are long term investors in glove as we see the bright prospect of glove in medium and long term compare with other industry and we have the shortie to press down the price for us to buy more.
Certain people post the selling price from Alibaba and other website from china. Based on my info, the nitrile glove selling in alibaba do not meet the US or the Europe market and the quality is not the same grade as Malaysian Top glove factory is selling.
My friend a glove trader in US despite his connections in China ONLY buy glove from the Top four glove factory in Malaysia for his US customers.

Yup kbtsyl68, spot on. some self declared sifu always post some website selling cheap China glove products to create a misconception against the top range glove ASP. That's like comparing Petaling Street LV bags with Champs-Elysees Avenue LV bags. Also the US/UK/EU market are more concerned about the glovemakers background and strict ESG compliance, not just the quality compliance. China is not as forth coming in terms of audit compliance. With TG ban uplifting, it has at one go, cleared the Big4 of any negative image of being non-compliant.

Aiyoh GO, he said "could" mah,and not "will". He qualified it and he was right to do so. His statement was 1 month before the TG US ban uplift and USTR statement that they are considering whether to reimpose the medical product tariff on China. If US set off the tariff and trade restrictions
on China medical products, this may kick off a cascading effect on China glovemakers esp Intco in trying to make in roads into US/UK/EU markets.
