Last year, KWAP was tasked to invested in M'sian sectors, however difficult the valuation was. Biotectnology companies in M'sia were far and few. Thus, it was a "no brainer" why Hovid was selected. Q3 2014 was when KWAP made investment calls/visits to Hovid. Fast forward today, with all the negativity about M'sia, KWAPs investments are under scrutiny and I understand that there is an indpendent review on-going now on all KWAP's investments for the past 2 years and going forward. When the wind blows over, I am sure it will all return to normal. Hopefully.

Of course, the millions of bids were from KWAP. Now with KWAP gone, there would obviously be no support. Ever wondered, why for the last few months, there were no re-valuation of Hovid TP? KWAP got some explaining to do now.

Just pray (new investment committee and internal management) of KWAP does not undo previous investment with force sell to raise cash for *ahem* government needs. Unlike Tabung Haji who in many instances write-off investments, EPF and KWAP do not have this luxury.

Supporting the m'sian bond market is of utmost importance, which needs billions of dollars (note : dollars not ringgit!). Many investments by EPF/KWAP will be undone to support this cause. Hovid will start producing its patented drug in 2020 and hence this is definately a long term counter, if things do materialise in Hovid's favour that is.
