Contrarian (my view) - Selling the treasury stock generally results in the increase of shareholders' equity, Selling treasury is performed because of many reasons - normally due to expansion, acquisition, re-investment, or even want to have cash resources. (many reasons, only they know and we will only at a later date if they made the announcement which you may guest it)

They have bought quite substantial treasury stock from the market past few months and they sell it back. This is expected since they have new glove plants, empire mall, or "others" or other reasons ).

They sell at a premium cost price, not at discounted cost. Ruberrex has a pile of cash.

Rubberex share buy back in the past 3 months were done at 50.5 sen to 62 sen and selling today at 68.5 sen to 69.5 sen it has made substantial gain on the reselling.

The first case of the Covid-19 variant Omicron has been detected in Malaysia, says Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.

Khairy said a positive sample of the Omicron variant was detected on Thursday (Dec 2) involving a 19-year-old South African private university student in Ipoh who arrived from South Africa through Singapore on Nov 19.

Today you get Omicron, the next day you get Delta ...Omicron doesn't kill Delta and vice versa.Hospitals will be overwhelmed with both viruses. While the number of infected persons is increasing, it becomes more complex and both viruses are competing with each other. Whether it is lethal or not, it is really not good news for AZ, Pfizer and etc but not to gloves.

For gloves, the usage is increasing everywhere.

This is the same case as dengue fever/virus, you may get one of the four different strains (dengue virus) and it doesn't kill each other and it is still there.
