Last area of prospective growth in Selangor,area in the north and southern Perak. Everybody hope Geely investment will stimulate further growth north of Rawang till Tanjung Malim, Perak. Hoping that parts suppliers too will setup shops to support Geely and other related brands in the stable.People living in those parts will benefit from jobs creation as well.

laosai has brought back fond memöries to me.

About 10 years ago I bought Perak Corp at 60 sen.
There were no i3 forum then. So Calvin shared about Perak Corp to all his Johor Buddies.

Perak Corp was then selling at 60 sen with Nta over Rm3.00. And it has prime lands in Lumut.

So Calvin issued by call for Perak Corp. Calvin even called his friend Mr Lee of Sitiawan and told him about Perak Corp.

Mr. Lee phoned his remisier in Manjung and Perak to ask their opinions.

Ha! His Perak remisiers saw nothing good in Perak Corp as they said that only old people and children were left in Perak as young people have all left for the bright lights of KL.

So nobody bothered with Perak Corp
And Perak Corp dropped to 40 sen and turned into Berak Corpse!

Then one fine day.

Kaboom! Kaboom!

Perak Corp jumped to Rm3.60(up 900%)

And Perak Govt offered to take private Perak Corp at rm3.90. But shareholders and experts of the day rejected privatisation as they thought the offer price of Rm3.90 was too low.

The irony of it all.

At 60 sen Perak Corp was totally rejected as berak? At Rm3.60 everyone think Perak Corp is gold?

And so was Jaks at 40 sen, Nylex at 58 sen, Wangzheng at 75 sen, Prestar at 46 sen, Insas at 65 sen, Masteel at 66 sen or RceCap at 27 sen. Nobody bothered when they were cheap. But after prices surged past Rm1.00 only then caught the fire?

This is human nature.

So only 10% who dare to buy when cheap will make all the monies. And 90% of die hard punters will eventually lose monies.

Yes, but property prices are catching up in the once dead town like Bukit Beruntung, where TalamT has got lots of land too. Potential is there but how fast it can grow depends on how the government further stimulate the economic activity there. Anchoring Geely there could be a start if the rejunevated Proton is successful in Asean then the sky is the limit.

Majuperak Holdings Bhd said that it is unaware of any corporate development or rumour that has led to the sharp rise in its share price yesterday.
This comes after the group was issued an Unusual Market Activity (UMA) query by Bursa Malaysia after its share price surged by as much as 17.5% to 60.5 sen and some 19.5 mln shares exchanged hands, equivalent to 7.6% of the group's share capital.
Majuperak has suspended the trading of its shares in afternoon yesterday at and will resume normal trading today. (The Star Online)

The 7.6% investor who buy at such a price above 50 and reaching 60.5 sen could be an insider. He or a group of them may have inside news despite the fact that the company announced a small quarter loss today. Only people who know buy or else this MJPerak counter is normally very very quiet.
