yeah like what nicholas said
normal = buy low sell high, you make profit
idss = sell and buy. but its more like you borrow from broker if the price goes up you have to cover your position end of trading day. as idss is intraday shortsell all happen in 1 trading day

not everyone can play idss, trading duration too short most likely get burnt without knowing why. unless you CONFIRM that day share price will drop aka those BIG GUYS who have $$ to short gloves because they can move share price + pump bad news 24/7

atleast contra trading is T + X days
margin for uptrend
cash trading for long

You need to close IDSS position before 3.30 p.m. on the same trading day (T-Day). After 3.30 p.m., our DR will
close all open IDSS positions based on the market price. IDSS order(s) cannot be carried forward to the next
market day (T+1 Day). Failure to close off the IDSS position by end of trading day (5.00 p.m.) is considered as
a breach of the Rules of Bursa Securities.

no wonder engine slowed down after 3:30pm when the cover their position atleast we got more buyers to take up the tickets
