DIVIDENDS The amount of dividends declared and paid since the end of the last financial year were as follows:-
In respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2012:- First and final single tier dividend of 3 sen per ordinary share paid on 19 August 2013
Subsequent to the end of the reporting period, a first and final single tier dividend in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2013 of 4 sen per ordinary share amounting to RM7,919,600 will be proposed for shareholders’ approval at the upcoming annual general meeting. This proposed dividend is not reflected in the current year’s financial statements. Such dividend, if approved by the shareholders will be accounted for in shareholders’ equity as appropriation of retained earnings in the financial year ending 31 December 2014.
