However I already keep this counter for few years and optimized with the business. Not like some ppl after found good QR then suddenly come here blow and blow
I am worried when CALVIN start making comments to promote TEX. Last year he made so much noise on BINA PURI and what happened to the share price?
All the while long term holders like Sebastian, Sapura and incorrect......
Meanwhile, March is the month to watch what happens and how good Lippun is in this counter as he holds more than majority of the shares.
As a long term holder who recently join this forum I am considering what uncle Koon says, if profit not good to dispose and disappear from the the top 10 of the shareholding list!
Otherwise, need to consider Share Split (50 sen?) and or Bonus? And spread the shareholding.
Wow....now attacking! AGM coming.... best to attend and speak out. Calvin, why dont you come to Penang for teo chew chendol and laksa and left hand kuih teow at Keng Kwee and attend AGM at Jens?
As Uncle Koon says, share split and bonus would be good. Volume has increased the past month but not much excitement yet.
Write a comment..My2 sen to "incorrect".....you must know that the local directors and CEO does not own shares in the company. They are contented with new Merc regularly and big fat salaries. Lippun holds majority of shares and so too little in the open market to goreng
Calvin... you are making comments that are absurd. Tex is not a dinosaur to wake up like AJInomoto. Sushi King products are not that tasty and Japanese standard. Are you and group from Singapore trying to stir up the price?
January 2017 already 10 sen dividend paid out.
Whether another 5 sen to be announced?
Best is share split, bonus and warrants to have some excitement.
Overall volume of transactions has increased but price still below 1.50 and hopefully next week when 2016 results announced there may be profit..... the sales of Fumakila will help the balance sheet but not the profit.
A lot of us are fed up with the unexciting price and movement of TEX the dinosaur But wait till end of month for 2016 results and see if there is profit or not. Then exit from the top ten like uncle Koon
Last time when Calvin called for a strong buy on Jaks at only 40 cts

Whoa!
Top boss bought at 44 cents and above, millions of them. Anything below 40 cents is a bargain!
So don't wait or else Jaks jump Jump JUMP Up And Away!
On DECEMBER 16TH 2014 when Jaks was 40 cts Very Few People Were Paying Attention. That was the TIME TO BUY THEN. Now Jaks up over 200% & people are hotly pursuing to their detriment.
So Calvin say Now is the TIME TO LOAD UP ON TEXCHEM
Calvin, are you and your group the one trying to buy at 143 and 142?
Next week we will see what happens when 2016 unaudited profit or loss announced I hope for all of us.... Tex wont crash like it did after 10 sen dividend paid. Next week before 31 March watch out.... unless Friday there is announcement
All the best to those who have been holding a long time!
This laggard is now safer than many high flying balloon stocks without fundamental.
Why texchem is good.
1. Selling at more than 30% discount to Nta provides margin of safety.
2. All the assets are still at old book value. All in excellent locations. Last round I bought Super Enterprize because it has 8 industrial factories. Super taken private later for 200% upside.
3. With sale of fumakilla divvy might be increased to 15 cts
4. Core business of producing seafood in myanmar and selling in retail outlets for maximum profit is an ideal business.
5. With crash of ringgit influx of tourists will increase. Expect brisk business at all 100 Sushi King outlets in Malaysia
6. Expansion to Brunei points to bright future like ajinomoto. Unlike ajinomoto which i bought for rm2.50 Texchem is still a bargain.
7. All the yardsticks of Nta, dividend and p/e show that Texchem is a value buy.
Just had a nice lunch at Sushi King at Citysquare in JB!
Sabah fish with mushroom vege soup! Few types of mushroom and rice. Very nice and hearty meal. The soup is light and the fish well roasted.
I finished the last drop of soup and the last grain of rice. And oh, so early today a nice crowd is building up. I heard on weekends the place is packed with both Johoreans and Singaporeans.
Last time my Johor Sifu bought KFC shares because Malaysia is a majority muslim nations where eating pork is taboo. So KFC should do well.
And KFC did so well that Johor Cop took it private.
Hmm?
Sushi King should also do well as it is 100% halal. And with cheap ringgit more tourists will be patronising at over 100 Sushi King outlets.
Type of Meeting Annual General Meeting Indicator Notice of Meeting Description Notice of 43rd Annual General Meeting of Texchem Resources Bhd. Today Tex volume increased.....but price fell. I wonder if C gang is buying a lot as noted in the buying support (but at lower prices?). I guess by month end during AGM price support will be better. If not to lock up and throw away the key and wait for dividend announcement
Anyone going for the AGM end of this month? Too bad I just came back from Penang last month. Passed by Texchem like I passed by Gkent more than a year ago. That time I remember not many people convince to keep. Price for Gkent now went up almost 300%. Now is time for Texchem to fly.
Today buy on weakness. Sapu as much as possible. Next week sapu again.
I don't think another dividend will be announced at agm..... Just wait for 25th April and see if the price does make any upward movement by that date or after that date. I guess price will remain below 1.50. My2sen view. Tex the dinosaur!
Texchem Resources Bhd's restaurant division is expected to double its gross profit and drive up revenue by 17% to 20% in its financial year ending Dec 31, 2017 (FY17), said its executive chairman Tan Sri Fumihiko Konishi.
After the group’s annual general meeting today, he told reporters that growth is showing in the restaurant division, particularly its Sushi King restaurant chain which is recording a recovery after the impact of the goods and services tax (GST) implementation in 2015.
Konishi said the group also plans to expand its Sushi King outlets to 130 this year from 113 now, opening in smaller towns where there has been an increase in demand.
Nonetheless, he noted that Texchem is being affected by higher raw material cost, and the group is trying to source for localised raw materials which is in line with management’s ongoing halal certification effort.
