In 97/98 The Asian Financial Crisis was caused by deleveraging of high Us debt in Usd

When Usd went up many indebted Asian Nations which borrowed Usd suffered collapse

Only palm oil companies survived then as they have little debt since palm oil is a cash crop

In 2007/8 the Subprime housing loan crashed as they overborrowed to speculate in houses

So those cannot meet loan payment were foreclosed

Recently the unwinding of Jap yen loan when interest rate spiked caused Us market to tank

All were due to debt in recall

As for TSH the BOD has good foresight to use cash to pare down loans in good times

So it is now rock solid going into tough times

Very strong balance sheet Tsh can now outshine all others still bog down by high debts

To Tsh we shall go
And buy more

By right, TSH should be trading at RM11 instead of still struggling at around RM1.10. Good counters don't need any promotion, just look at Maybank and CIMB Bank.

Wow! Buy a counter and then wait (or dream) for it to be taken private. That is not a good investment strategy. Better buy Facbind, better chance. Its net cash is RM1.80 per share but is trading at only RM1.20 a share. Plus other assets, it is worth RM2.50 a share. KBunai had been taken private, why not sister company Facbind?

China recession confirmed. US recession likely. India recession 50/50. Palm oil will unlikely go back above 4,000 & T-ak S-hiok-H-ah? which needed it to go above 7,000 in order to reach $1.80 will not ever revisit that price again with mountainous scrip of nearly 1,500 million & free-float over 3/4 of that figure! Back to $1.20 & sustain also very unlikely for the rest of the year. More likely to tumble back below 99.5c.📉

All commodity or its stock has 1 n only 1 tailwind i.e.
as Value-Investing only with increasing ASP i.e. bull run on its mother commodity prices.

i had a v v v small plantation of abt 20 acres in johor.
it was on rubber. then i shared 50:50 with the rubber tapper on sales.

then i switched to palm oil, thinking no skill is needed to harvest.
it was a good going concern till Covid-19 hit.

our indon contractors or workers tarik harga!
oil palms need lots of costly fertilizer n weed killer chemicals too.
lack of laborers, the fruits were let to rot = the yield went so low,,,

WHY? this was n still on iphone economy.
all workers like maids will busuk.busuk buy their 1st iphone.
will these workers ever want to work in the jungle of nowhere of a huge palm oil stock?

will u as s/holders help to be the hard core workers in palm oil estate?

Result of Bulugan land sale finally out

after extension date expired deal is cancelled

Out of Rm731.09 millions Rm441 Millions cash has been received

Remaining lands not sold is 13,335 acres with book value about 38 sen

Good fortune has come to Tsh indeed

Now land prices in Kipi Tanah Kuning Bulugan Regency has sky 🚀 much higher

So Tsh stands to reap further value by holding them longer term
