Franklin will be just happy with a petty 8-10cents gains per share. look at the substantial shareholder announcements. as long as Franklin is there in queue, dun expect a bullish bias to engulf upwards.
overall oldtown market share has been drop drastically. With the emerging of many other restaurant chain... it is obviously a challenging year ahead. Most of their outlet slowly close down and selling from franchisee to others...not a good sign.
weird. when talk about Oldtown, most ppl only mention outlets outlets outlets, less u knw they have a retail business which generates half of the Grp's total revenue? the FMCG arm has overseas market and able to capitalize from the strong USD forex.
Yo skyz.. i think the retail businesses in malaysia is performing quite well as most of the outlets i visited.. there were not empty every single time and it has become a hangout place to most Malaysians especially salesman and teenagers. Also, the FMCG arm is improving where I can see promotion and advertising have been helping the growth of its sachet coffees..
leevoluti0n91, u did your homework well as an investor. not like certain shallow comments by passerby based on their observation in shopping malls, eating places. Haha :p
EPS dropped from 3.2 to 2.45 for corresponding quarter last FY. Interim dividend maintained at 3sens per expectation. Looks like not enough to push the price up. Lets hibernate for another 3 months. Zzzzz
walau, dividend so high , higher than toto and magnum, But I failed to quue buy this morinig at 1.43, so I am very jeolous now, and the dividend higher than I cannot beleive, congratulation oldtown shareholders , I think will be another aa counter
Starbuck is not selling coffee..they are selling lifestyle, brand association, and a cool place to meet. Coffee is secondary... RM3 per cup cost, selling to everyone for RM10++
