Awantech is cash rich and making profit for the last 2 quater. Revenue is abit small ie about 28m. Coming out with a business plan for doing new business is not a 'masak masak' game. You cannot jump into a new business with relevant personel and experience. That is the reason Awantech refuse to submit a regulalisation plan. AwanT wants to grow their current business organically. The are contracted by the Govt to migrate Govt data to Goggle cloud. All this insuniations that Govt is after Awantec is nonsense. Their SKIN wad taken away by Muhidden Y to be given to his son in law. Dsai knows that

Now is a test if will between Bursa and Awantec management. Bursa wants Regulalisation plan ie basically a Plan to grow big business. Can be alot of bullshit stuff. Currently hot is ESG, EV or Solar.

Bursa is doing alot of Bullshit stuff. Look at all the rights issue by penny stock company and burning away funds after that. Awantech management is commendable. They are not bowing to Bursa's nonsense. They have proven that their current business is viable. 2 consequtive Q of profit. Why need to change direction. No cash problem

I got no fear. Just be prepared to hold 1 year is Bursa really suspend. Hold 1 year for 100% profit. Where to find. Just look at Ageson. Lousy co. Cannot even submit Acc and Director charge in court for falsifying documents. Pre suspension, I buy at 3 cents. After uplift from suspension I sell at 7 cents. More than 100% profit for holding 8 months

Those fighting with government case. SC will not allow them to remain listed in bursa. If awantec is able to provide regulation plan is better if not that is confirm to be delisted. The director already said that they are in a risk of delisted soon in their announcement

i)The reason why Awantech did not submit the regularization plan, as it's not necessary, as clearly indicated by :

To further elaborate, the Waiver and Upliftment Application mentioned above was made pursuant to Paragraph 8.03A(5) of the Listing Requirements, which states that an affected listed issuer NEED NOT comply with the requirements set out in subparagraph (3) of Paragraph 8.03A of the Listing Requirements ie amongst others, to undertake a regularisation plan (which typically entails an acquisition of a new business that results in a significant change in business direction of the company or a fund raising exercise) that is subject to the approval of the relevant regulatory authority, provided that with reasons mentioned.

ii) Also, there is no reply from 'Waiver Request & Uplift' so far.

iii) Awantech has the absolutely right to appeal against compensation sum of 200mil+. It doesn't mean Awantech is 'fighting' with government. What's wrong with trying to appeal ? worst come to worst, they stick back to their original compensation sum of 200mil+.

iv) Not sure why some people said it will be delisted. Is it due to not submit regularization plan ? if so, please refer to i) and ii) for reference. Also, even if SC does not agree on i) and ii) , they will be given chance to do the regularization plan, within the suspension period/or not.

v) It doesn't make sense for Bursa to delist company that show improving profits based on last consecutives counters. Have a look at some of the counters who keep one bleeding quarter by quarters and yet they are still listed.

vi) Kindly check the background of current CEO. Also, not to forget, who's the one sapu during the panic sell on Friday ? Normal retailers after looking at KLSE comments, will they sapu on the low price ?

viii) Given the reasons above, the uncertainty is we do not know how long will it take for this counter 'active' back again, in case suspension still going on as usual, if there is no announcement within this 1-2 days.

As the saying goes, there is on sure win in stock market. Practice our risk management wisely. No one is pointing gun to buy this counter. Win already happy sendiri, if lose , then find someone to blame.

Refer to announcement the director say that they are facing delisted risk so they are appeal suspended. If they are not appeal of suspension. They will delisted. So the appeal result deny. Awantec will delisted very soon. Please go and read announcement

fi888, just share my thoughts only... normally we have blindspots in our thinking, thus it's essential to clearly construct our reasonings in proper way, so that others can see it clearly and pinpoint the 'loopholes'..

lets not talk about whether share is up or down, we are now consider the worst case scenario, which is whether it will be delisted or not. I believe the reasons mentioned above are suffice.

If one is still feel uncomfortable about this counter, just leave it and play other counters. Its simple as that.

By the way, awantech warrant expiry date is next year , 25 NOV 2025, not this year.

Please go and read PN17/803A stated in the bursa listing rules and regulations. For me I will not buy any super high risk like gambling because bursa so many share can invest why I need to invest those easy to become toilet paper. Friday can't trade anymore in open market

Market Cap RM201 mil
Gov Payout of RM 231 mil
Redtone deal of RM 294 mil
That's kinda insane where the price and cap is.

However bottomline is, how confident are you with Awantec's long term prospect ? that is Bursa's concern at the moment. They essentially going against the gov which is their main customer segment ... how will this affect the relationship and their business opportunity long term. if you are confident with their business outlook, then the risk of delisting doesnt matter cause eventually they can be re-listed.

Judging from the current situation i'm quite risk adverse, if they are so confident with the business outlook they have no qualms submitting the regularization plan or that the waiver was convincing enough to prevent bursa from delisting the company in the first place
